Web Operations & Optimisation Specialist
Toronto, Canada Apply for Role- Manage day-to-day publishing and page setup in the website CMS (Contentful), maintaining reusable templates, components, and blocks to enable scale.
- Maintain standards and processes, including intake, SLAs, workflows, QA checklists, change logs, and release documentation.
- Act as the technical bridge between IT and the web agency and manage the full SDLC—prioritizing work, defining requirements, approving changes, coordinating releases, and running UAT prior to deployment.
- Monitor and ensure website usability, performance, and security, and troubleshoot issues to resolution.
- Provide hands-on support, conduct QA, and implement advanced HTML/CSS/JavaScript adjustments to ensure campaign pages function and render as intended.
- Configure and QA GA4/GTM for pages, forms, and events, and enforce clean, consistent UTM standards.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals; implement front-end fixes and partner with the agency on backend items.
- Support integration and maintenance of the web MarTech stack via GTM and platform tags to ensure accurate data collection.
- Build reporting and dashboards in BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau) to monitor traffic, conversions, SEO KPIs, and A/B test outcomes.
- Build and maintain Zapier automations to capture clean web and marketing data into the CRM, ensuring reliability and governance.
- Implement CMS-level SEO in Contentful, partner with the website agency on technical/performance SEO, and validate improvements with standard tools.
- Plan and run A/B and multivariate tests, using data and user feedback to inform UX updates with a mobile-first approach.
- Develop and run quantitative and qualitative research, including user testing, heatmapping/scrollmapping, visual analytics, data analytics, and competitive research.
- QA experiments across browsers and devices, ensuring goals and events are tracked correctly.
- Analyze conversion funnels and report on findings to determine impact on UX and conversions, translating insights into clear recommendations.
- Develop a clear understanding of EZRA’s web ecosystem, governance, and analytics/tracking foundations.
- Establish a stable publishing and QA process that reduces website issues and improves time-to-resolution.
- Launch a prioritized testing roadmap and deliver early conversion and UX wins using data and user feedback.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and implement key technical SEO fixes in partnership with the website agency to lift speed, stability, and search visibility.
- Ensure reliable data flow from web to Salesforce campaigns via GA4/GTM and Zapier, with monitoring and alerts in place.
- 3–5 years in website operations, front-end development, or technical marketing operations at an agency or in the tech/SaaS industry (B2B preferred).
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, with hands-on experience in Contentful or a comparable enterprise CMS.
- Strong technical SEO capabilities with demonstrated implementation.
- Proficiency in GA4 and GTM, with familiarity in CRO, automation, or SEO tools is a plus
- Experience with UX/wireframing and mobile-first design; strong cross-browser/device QA.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills; able to validate agency or backend work and drive issues to resolution.
- Knowledge or familiarity with Pardot and Salesforce CRM (or equivalent tools).
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize effectively under tight deadlines.
- A team player with strong agency management and collaboration skills.
