MECM Engineer - APAC ( 6 Months Contract )
, Malaysia Apply for RoleThe Adecco Group - Malaysia - IT Hub is hiring for a MECM Engineer - APAC based in Kuala Lumpur for a 6-month contract. You’ll report to the Endpoint Management Service Manager and work on managing and optimizing our endpoint solutions.
MECM Engineer is responsible for end-to-end service delivery including all service offerings, in particular the value that the service delivers. MECM Engineer is providing support to MECM Service Owner who defines long term strategy for the service.
MECM Engineer is also participating on all project which involves MECM technology like Autopilot, Providing support for all MECM related tasks like (Application deployment, configuration baselines etc.).
Main tasks & Responsibilities
• Assisting to the MECM Service Owner
• Following up on service definition design
• Participate on short, mid and long term strategy implementation
• Update service catalogue per service Owner directive
• Oversees correct platform operations
• Provide improvement feedback for service
• Is accountable to fulfill SLA targets for assigned tickets.
• Provide support and training to Global & Local IT as well as Operations and third-party managed service vendor.
• Manage assets (hardware or software, people, processes) of the service.
• Responsible for platform debugging
• Proposal of service improvements
• Full autonomy in creation packages/applications (MSI, MSIX, W32 bundles etc.)
• Ability to create transform packs for MSI/MSIX
• Ability to debug existing packages/applications
• Good understanding PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit
Requirement
• Proven record track with MECM/SCCM at least 3 to 5 years of experience in an international company.
• Good understanding how MECM works both from server side and client side as well.
• AZURE AD, AD, knowledge.
• Knowledge of Office 365, ADFS, Authentication, Azure AD
• Application management
• Travel Requirement - Occasional (up to 20%)
• Excellent in English Communication.
• Any additional language is a plus
Education
• University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education
• ITIL 3 certification, MS related certifications are a plus
