Sr Director, Tech and Innovation

The Senior Director Tech & Innovation is responsible for orchestrating the technology ecosystem surrounding Pontoon's market-leading contingent workforce solutions. This role will drive innovation through collaboration with local and global technology partners, including Vendor Management System (VMS) providers, and will lead the development of cutting-edge solutions leveraging artificial intelligence, 
prototyping, and automation.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead the strategic orchestration of Pontoon’s technology ecosystem across EMEA and APAC regions.
• Collaborate with local and global technology partners, including VMS providers, to enhance solution offerings.
• Drive the development and implementation of innovative solutions using AI, automation, and rapid prototyping.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to maintain Pontoon’s competitive edge in the contingent workforce market.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business goals.
• Ensure seamless and scalable integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes.
• Represent the technology function in client engagements and industry forums across the regions.
• Lead a team of technology and innovation experts
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the technology team.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role, preferably within the workforce solutions or HR tech industry.
• Strong understanding of the contingent workforce ecosystem and related technologies.
• Demonstrated success in managing partnerships with global technology vendors.
• Expertise in AI, automation, and prototyping methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
• Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
