About the role

The Vice President, Total Rewards – Americas is a senior leadership role responsible for co-shaping and delivering the Adecco Group’s Total Rewards strategy across the region, ensuring alignment with global principles while tailoring for local business needs.

Reporting to the Group Head of Total Rewards and as a member of the global TR leadership team, this role works as an integral part of the Global CoE—collaboratively defining strategy rather than operating as a standalone regional authority. The focus is on ensuring global frameworks are effectively adapted, adopted, and championed within the region through strong stakeholder alignment and influence.

The position plays a key role in driving the Group’s ongoing transformation, partnering with HR and business leaders to evolve reward programs so they are simple, focused, and aligned to business and organisational needs. It also requires actively shaping the Group agenda by bringing regional insight into global discussions, while ensuring successful execution through strong engagement and buy-in across stakeholders.

The role brings together data, technology, and business insight to evolve how reward is delivered—leveraging tools, systems, and emerging capabilities (including AI) to improve decision-making and employee experience.

As a senior leader, the VP will also contribute to building and shaping a high-performing, diverse global Reward CoE, fostering collaboration, capability, and a strong sense of shared purpose.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead compensation processes with a strong focus on quality of outcomes and allocation of spend, ensuring investments are differentiated and aligned to business priorities.
  • Use data and market insights to inform pay decisions, challenge assumptions, and guide trade-offs.
  • Provide robust financial modelling and scenario analysis to support leadership decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, including pay transparency and disclosure requirements.

Incentive Design & Performance Alignment

  • Ensure sales and non-sales incentive plans are clear, measurable, and tightly linked to business performance, with strong governance and cost discipline.
  • Partner with the business and finance to develop dashboards to track performance, forecast outcomes, and assess effectiveness of plans.

Benefits Strategy

  • Shape a focused, competitive, and sustainable benefits offering across the region and drive execution excellence in partnership with the US Benefits Director.
  • Balance employee needs, market positioning, and cost considerations.
  • Ensure strong governance and compliance across jurisdictions.

Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Influence

  • Act as a strategic partner to global and regional leadership, contributing to and shaping the direction of Total Rewards across the Group.
  • Partner with stakeholders upfront to understand needs and co-create solutions, building alignment early in the process.
  • Drive adoption of reward strategies through influence, engagement, and clear articulation of value—moving beyond design into sustained behavioural and organisational impact.

Transformation, Simplification & Innovation

  • Co-create Total Rewards strategy in partnership with the Global CoE, ensuring regional perspectives are reflected in Group-wide frameworks.
  • Balance global consistency with local relevance, ensuring solutions are not only strategically sound but also practical and embraced within the region.

  • Drive simplification and standardisation of reward programs and processes, to improve clarity and effectiveness
  • Embed a data-driven approach to reward decisions aligned with Group principles and frameworks.
  • Leverage technology and tools to improve delivery, transparency, and user experience—applying innovation where it adds real value.
  • Bring fresh thinking and an external perspective while ensuring solutions remain practical, scalable, and aligned to business reality.
About you
  • Proven ability to shape and co-create Total Rewards strategy within a global CoE model, and translate it into impactful regional outcomes through strong influence and alignment.
  • Strong collaborator who operates effectively within a global structure, contributing to enterprise-wide strategy rather than operating independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive adoption of strategic initiatives—not just design or execute them.
  • Uses data, analytics, and critical thinking to drive informed decision-making and optimise investment outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with clear understanding of how reward drives performance and business outcomes.
  • Ability to navigate competing priorities and act as a trusted advisor to achieve practical, win-win solutions
  • Operates effectively in transformation settings—bringing focus, simplifying complexity, and maintaining pace.
  • Builds and leads high-performing, diverse teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Exercises sound judgement and discretion in managing sensitive and high-impact decisions.
  • Balances strategic thinking with execution—connecting both to deliver meaningful business impact.
