Network Security Service Owner
Prague, Czech Republic Apply for RoleThe Network Security Service Owner (SSL, Firewalls) is a critical role accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned network security services within The Adecco Group, particularly focusing on public/external SSL service ownership and a portion of Firewall services. The service owner is accountable for the design, launch, continuous improvement, and sunsetting of their respective services. The service owner ensures that business consumers of the services have a fully functional environment, designed by best practices, to deliver their goals to Adecco clients and partners. The service owner leverages respective service managers and managed services partners who are responsible to support service owner and execute on the strategy. This role includes participation and/or leading the resolution of major outages with critical severity.
What you’ll be doing- Develop and execute on a strategic network engineering and technology plan for network and investment decisions.
- Ensure that the network functions provide the capabilities needed to meet identified business needs.
- Cooperate with other service owners to identify service dependencies and generate solutions for complex technical challenges.
- Adhere to prescribed workflows and procedures based upon an industry standard framework (ITIL).
- Cooperate with Adecco architects and architecture board to ensure network standards are implemented in upcoming projects.
- Design network solutions (or entire new services) according to business needs, test and document the solution, and handover to deployment team.
- Cooperate and lead interactions with partners and service providers to deliver expected objectives (e.g. Proof of Concept).
- Provide clear definition and description of the service, including related documentation, the primary use cases of the service, and its business value.
- Drive service maturity and service enhancements with partners and internal colleagues.
- Identify security risks and mitigations associated with the services.
- Maintain the service catalog associated with each respective service.
- Manage total capacity including utilization, features, and resiliency of assigned services.
- Manage the costs of the service. Be able to benchmark total and unit costs; service level & features; and risk profile (including security, resilience, scalability).
- Be accountable for demonstrating sustainable productivity in the running of your service (cost per user & TCO).
- Define a strategy that designs all aspects into your service and make sure that it is appropriate to the investment/risk trade-offs Adecco should make.
- Create a phased deployment roadmap (short term and long term) that plans out vision for your service. Deliver committed results relative to your roadmap.
- Report the investment roadmap for the services, including deliverables over time, expected outcomes and impact to key metrics.
- Manage assets (hardware or software, people, processes…) of the service.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
- Participate in troubleshooting during critical outages.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in IT Infrastructure is required.
- Strong overall IT work experience is required.
- Demonstrate strong technical expertise in design, implementation and troubleshooting the following technologies on an enterprise scale
- Proven experience with creation of documentation (HLD, LLD, network diagrams).
- Experience in managing network services, KPI’s, and SLA’s with suppliers / vendors.
- Experience with RFI/RFP processes and documentation preparation is desired.
- Abilities to convince and persuade outside of direct reporting line.
- University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education.
- ITIL 3/4 certification is a plus.
- CCNP or similar network certification; CCIE is a plus.
- Occasional traveling up to 20%.
