About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the design, development, and implementation of Data & Analytics solutions for The Adecco Group brands within North America. This role requires an analytical mindset to translate high-level business needs into functional and technical requirements, ensuring successful Data products execution. The Business Analyst will work closely with stakeholders from different levels of seniority and diverse domains and functions across The Adecco Group North America, to document requirements, optimize processes, and drive informed decision-making through data insights.

What you’ll be doing

Business & Functional Analysis :

  • Conduct in-depth functional analysis of high-level business requirements provided by Business Partners.
  • Produce detailed business and system requirements (functional and non-functional) to guide solution design and development.
  • Own a deep functional knowledge of BI systems and understand technical implications for modifications.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations for solution improvements and modifications.
  • Document report, dashboard, and data requirements, including data flows, end-to-end processes, use cases, business requirements, and dashboard wireframes.
  • Troubleshoot data/report discrepancies and participate in gap analysis, validation, and testing.
  • Support the project manager in creating detailed project plans and identifying development & configuration work packages.

Stakeholder engagement & Collaboration :

  • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, Business Partners, solution delivery teams, and IT production teams.
  • Facilitate requirement discussions to ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution.
  • Work closely with development, project management, architecture, and quality assurance teams to ensure project success.
  • Engage external partners for solution development and drive best practices for BI implementation.
  • Provide technical consultation and drive solution recommendations based on business needs.

Process Improvement and Compliance :

  • Ensure all BI solutions comply with internal and external audit requirements and financial legislative regulations.
  • Support vendor management to ensure alignment with contractual agreements and service expectations.
  • Identify and implement best practices to enhance data analysis, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate business processes and recommend changes to improve BI system performance and usability.
  • Conduct end-user training and develop training aids for BI tools like MicroStrategy and Power BI.

Agile & Project Management support :

  • Collaborate in Agile development cycles, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and user acceptance testing.
  • Create wireframes for dashboard designs and ensure optimal visualization of business insights.
  • Assist in business case development by providing cost estimates, solution options, and work effort analysis.

Monitor and report on BI solution performance using key metrics and KPIs to ensure continuous improvement.

About you
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in BI, data warehousing, or data science environments.
  • Experience in the staffing solutions industry is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, SQL, MicroStrategy, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).
  • Prior experience in a global complex organization is required
