About the role 

The business development manager will be a subject matter expert in effecting Corporate Sales in the respective area of focus. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and a strong network within the specified industry. The position will be responsible to execute Adecco’s sales / Go to market strategy and effect new sales

What you’ll be doing

oLeverage key best practices to drive and successfully sell new business opportunities; build and effectively manage a list of new individuals and new clients to drive business development.

oStrong focus on selling to only net new/prospective clients and transitioning closed clients to existing AEs within 30 days of closing for continued Gartner service.

oCollaborate with internal resources and external network to prioritize and penetrate key accounts; quickly build relationships with key stakeholders to drive business.

oPrimary focus net new logos / net new client accounts.

oIdentify key decision makers and develop strategic relationships to drive revenue.

oCompliance in utilizing internal sales enablement tools and management processes.

oUtilizing account planning and time management tools to drive an increase of research revenue to an assigned quota.

oFollow determined Business Development best practices developed through collaboration with peers or delivered by Sales Learning and Development team.

oPrepares action plans for effective search of sales leads and prospects.

oInitiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.

oProvides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all completed prospect applications submitted for pricing and approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin.

oCreates and conducts proposal presentations and RFP responses.

oControls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

oAccount Management- handling various clients & managing relationships

oAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are implemented.

oProvides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance

®Work experience

oMinimum of 7 - 12 years of Sales experience in Strategic Selling, Institutional Sales as a hunter

oDemonstrated experience in building powerful sales pitch with the ability to influence key decision makers

oSolid understanding of competitive landscape within the area of focus

oBachelor Degree with MBA.

oAdded qualification in sales would be preferred.

oManagement and persuasion and negotiation.
