The Sales Manager of Apprenticeship / Skilling business is responsible for driving the growth and success of our apprenticeship programs by acquiring new clients, forming strategic partnerships with educational institutions, and managing client accounts to maximize business opportunities. This role requires a dynamic leadership quality with a deep understanding of both the apprenticeship landscape and the needs of clients and educational partners.
Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Driving sales
·Identify and pursue new business opportunities with organizations seeking to hire apprentices
·Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure clients for apprenticeship programs.
·Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends.
·Manage and support the sales team to achieve sales targets, including the implementation of key initiatives relevant to the region.
·Drive sales team performance and productivity, ensuring alignment with company goals
·Ensure accurate sales forecasting to guide business planning and resource allocation.
·Develop and implement a relevant strategy to drive sales growth and increase market share in the assigned area.
·Achieve annual operating plan (AOP) targets, including revenue, margins, and sales productivity efficiencies within the assigned portfolio.
Account Management
·Oversee client accounts, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and successful program implementation.
·Develop and execute account strategies to enhance client engagement and increase business opportunities.
·Monitor client feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth.
Reporting and Analysis
·Prepare and present regular reports on business development, client acquisition, and performance.
·Analyze market trends and client needs to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.
Team Leadership
·Lead and mentor a team of business development and account management professionals.
·Foster a collaborative and high- performance work environment.
·Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
KPI
·Achieving Revenue (Quarterly and Annual target).
·Gross margin as per target
·Manage Commercial intensity and commercial efficiency as per the policy
·Self development

·Client NPS
·Sales funnel
·Conversion rate
·Revenue form Cross Sale check
·Number of new clients acquired per quarter.
·Quality and relevance of partnerships based on apprentice placement success rates.
·Client satisfaction scores and feedback.

·12+ total years of Experience with 4+ years in the same role and Handling team
