Lead a nationally dispersed recruitment team supporting ADF Careers – Army Reserve, partnering closely with Defence to develop your people, solve recruitment challenges and deliver great outcomes for candidates and the Defence workforce.

As the Recruitment Team Leader, you’ll lead and develop a nationally dispersed team of Recruitment Consultants delivering recruitment outcomes for Army Reserve.

As the Recruitment Team Leader – you will:

• You’ll coach and develop your team to achieve recruitment targets, progress candidates and maintain quality, compliance and an excellent candidate experience.
• Working closely with Defence and internal stakeholders, you’ll understand workforce priorities, navigate recruitment challenges and contribute practical solutions that improve outcomes for candidates and the Defence workforce.
• You’ll use data and performance insights to understand pipeline performance, identify opportunities and risks, forecast outcomes and guide decisions. You’ll share these insights with senior leaders and stakeholders to help shape recruitment priorities and improvements.
• You’ll build team capability, engagement and accountability, providing clear direction and supporting your people to perform and develop through change.

We’re looking for an experienced recruitment or operational people leader who enjoys bringing together people, performance, data and client partnership to achieve results.

Your background will demonstrate:

• Proven expertise in high-volume or professional recruitment, with a strong understanding of
• Experience in high-volume or professional recruitment, with a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment and candidate management.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing recruitment teams to achieve individual and team outcomes.
• Demonstrated responsibility for team performance, recruitment targets or operational delivery.
• Experience working in a highly governed, compliance-focused or similarly structured environment, balancing performance with quality and process requirements.
• Confidence using data and performance insights to understand results, investigate issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Experience managing and developing people, including performance and capability.
• Confidence building relationships with clients and senior stakeholders and contributing practical solutions.
• Ability to lead teams through change while maintaining engagement and delivery.
• Experience leading a dispersed, hybrid or remote team would be highly regarded.
