About the role

As part of a Global Infrastructure and Operations Project Delivery practice, being the overall project resource leader of a truly global team of IT project managers, delivering transversal projects for the Adecco Group in the areas of Infrastructure, Network, IT Service Management, End User Services, and IT security

In the role you will coach, train and provide guidance on project delivery including project governance

What you’ll be doing

  • Resource planning and allocation – develops and maintains a resource allocation plan, ensuring that resources are assigned to projects based on skills, availability and project requirements
  • Works closely with Program Leads & key stakeholders to understand project needs and timelines
  • Balance resource loads across multiple projects to avoid over or under utilization
  • Resource forecasting – working with program leads to understand the demand and anticipate future resource needs based on project pipeline and business forecasts
  • Identify potential resource shortages or surpluses and make recommendations
  • Reporting and Documentation - Maintain accurate records of resource allocation, utilization, and availability
  • Document and communicate resource management processes and best practices.
  • People leader – Performance management, skills management and development – identifying skill gaps and working with colleagues to build development, training plans and career path. Performing mid and year end reviews and collaborating with Program Managers and stakeholders to solicit feedback and set objectives to cultivate a high performance
  • Conflict resolution – resolves conflicts that arise from resource allocation such as competing demands
  • Single point of contact for Project resource demands, Procurement, PMO, Finance, and Regional I&O heads for markets
  • Stakeholder management (Program Leads, ITD, I&O leaders, Security, all GBUs) having regular reviews monthly
  • Monthly project status reporting for I&O portfolio working with PMO and Program Managers
  • Accountable to the Regions to ensure project updates as required
  • External project manager contract, renewals and invoicing working with Program lead
  • Budget Management
  • Manage escalations within the organization and with vendors
About you

  • Minimum 10+ years with proven experience in resource management, project management, or a similar role within an IT environment
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent communicator able to express complex ideas in simple language and presentation skills at an Executive Management Level
  • Proven ability of executive stakeholder management
  • Experience of successful management of cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
    • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
    • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas
    • Ability to evaluate information, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgement, experience and common-sense
  • Strong collaborative, inclusive team player
  • Detail oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency, excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • University degree preferably in a business or technical subject or any comparable education
  • PMP® / Prince2 (or similar industry standard project management qualification desirable)
  • (MSP) Foundation & Practitioner (Preferred)
  • Good to excellent command of English

                                       Travel Requirement:Occasional (up to 20%)
