About the role

SUMMARY:

The Vice President Staffing Strategy will be responsible for overseeing the sales strategy and growth of the Staffing teams nationally. This position requires strong business acumen and deep knowledge of the Staffing/Temp/Sales business in order to build a strong infrastructure to meet business objectives and exceed budgetary expectations. Responsibilities include the identification, growth and development of Temp Recruiter and Sales colleagues nationally.

What you’ll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Partners closely with the Head of Strategy and Revenue to develop national staffing strategies that can be executed at local levels, track trends related to the staffing markets, and closely monitor industry data to inform strategy, planning and performance.
• Directly manages a team of Regional Staffing Directors, to include hiring, coaching, assessment, performance management, and team accountability and direction.
• Drives hiring initiatives for all Staffing focused colleagues nationally.
• Develops, trains and motivates Staffing focused colleagues to ensure consistent and high sales and service to meet and exceed established financial targets.
• Audits/monitors the activities of the staff to ensure each region is provided optimum performance resources.
• Compile trend analyses for the US Staffing business.
• Monitor and analyze competitor trends.
• Use market, economic, and competitor data to build sound growth strategies, including ROI hypotheses, execution plans, tracking, and scoreboards.
• Works across LHH business lines to identify growth opportunities and strategize on cross-selling and product growth.
• Partners with Head of Strategy & Revenue to build pilot programs for new growth vectors.
• Determines/ facilitates on-going training programs needed to familiarize all Staffing staff with policies, procedures and methods applicable to their positions.
• Supports company retention objectives. Works with Leadership and HR to mitigate Temp Recruiter and Sales colleague turnover.
• Manages all day-to-day Staffing operations.
• Surveys clients regarding perception of service. Emphasizes quality and service, identifies opportunities for further growth of existing accounts.

• Directs and controls financial activities and adherence to budget.
• Continuous development of HIT and other Staffing focused trainings.
• Acts as liaison with corporate functions to solve issues, improve operational effectiveness and communicate corporate initiatives to branches.
• Monthly tracking and reporting of Zone specific activity.
• Regular Zone visits to ensure the Staffing practice’s integrity nationally.
• Participates in Business Reviews, representing the Staffing practice’s strategy, activity, forecast and results to Executive Leadership.
• Other duties as assigned to drive performance.

About you

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required. Minimum of 7 years people leadership experience is required. Minimum of 10 years of industry experience in Staffing is required, with at least 5 years in a Sales role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:
• Exceptional leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
• Must possess a high competency for understanding larger macro-economic trends to inform strategy.
• Strong executive presence, with the ability to present comprehensive strategic plans to Executive Leadership.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven coaching/training ability, preferably with experience in various training modalities (hip to hip, classroom, remote training platforms, etc.).
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, set own priorities/team priorities, and willing to accept accountability for self and team.
• Strong presentation skills, with the ability to speak in front of large groups and for formal presentations to Executive Leadership.
• Strong analysis skills. Must be able to develop and maintain knowledge of economic trends and changes affecting business nationally and extrapolate the impact to the Search business.
• Strong awareness of all relevant competitor activity nationally.
• Must be able to travel extensively, approximately 50% of the time.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $139,535 - $255,815. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location.

Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual

basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
