About the role

Adecco Group ITD has established a new 3‑year ITD Strategy and defined a selection of Strategic Programs to ensure its successful implementation. The Program Management Officer (PMO) plays a pivotal role in Delivery Excellence – acting as a content‑driven contributor and trusted right hand to the Program Lead. PMO owns the Program & Project Management framework and standards, ensuring consistent, high‑quality execution across workstreams and elevates how ITD executes, delivers, and reports on Programs and Projects – shifting from administrative control to impact, outcomes, and benefits realization through strong orchestration and strategic insight.

What you’ll be doing
  • Right hand to the Program Lead: bring strategic insight and hands‑on execution to ensure seamless orchestration across workstreams and adjacent programs.
  • Scope & Planning: partner with Program Leads to define scope, objectives, dependencies, and timelines; maintain an integrated master plan and critical path across workstreams.
  • Governance Design & Run: provide expertise on TAG ITD Project Management methodology; design/run governance structures (steering committees, operational cadences, workshops, decision forums), with clear charters and decision rights.
  • Tollgates & Compliance: ensure tollgate criteria are fully met; assemble and quality‑assure tollgate packs; coordinate timely approvals in line with PMO governance and methodology.
  • Structured Program Management: plan/prepare/facilitate meetings; maintain RAID logs, action trackers, change requests; follow up relentlessly to closure with owners and due dates.
  • Reporting & Insights: ensure high‑quality data in the Project Management tool; prepare concise, executive‑ready updates and steerco materials that translate complexity into clear, actionable insights.
  • Risk & Dependency Management: proactively identify cross‑workstream risks/issues and manage dependencies within and across programs; lead mitigations, escalations, and decision pathways.
  • Delivery Control: monitor deliverables against scope, timeline, budget, and quality; run change control and implement corrective actions proactively when deviations occur.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: drive effective communication and stakeholder alignment across business and technology; support approvals and governance steps; manage expectations and facilitate decisions.
  • Financials & Benefits: work closely with Finance on transparent, forward‑looking financial planning and tracking (CAPEX/OPEX, forecasts/EAC, variances); support business case, benefits tracking, and scenario planning.
  • Cross‑functional Coordination: align with Program Leads, Project Managers, Technical Leads, Business Owners, and senior management on status, financials, risks, issues, and key decisions.
  • Steering Committee Support: prepare materials and facilitate SteerCos as requested, ensuring decisions are well‑framed and documented.
  • Capability Uplift: act as a coach/mentor to colleagues; raise delivery maturity through training, templates, and best‑practice sharing.
  • Culture & Continuous Improvement: champion collaboration, innovation, and customer‑centricity; contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned.
About you
  • 7+ years of proven experience in Project Management and/or PMO roles, ideally within large‑scale, complex, multi‑workstream programs; front‑end experience and complex integrations are a strong plus.
  • Expert knowledge of best‑practice program/project management, including governance design, integrated planning, risk/issue/dependency management, change control, and benefits & financial management.
  • Proven success operating in multi‑initiative, multi‑national, multi‑priority environments; able to juggle multiple streams and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Executive‑ready communication and presence: able to synthesize complex information into crisp, decision‑oriented narratives for senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Adept with enterprise delivery and reporting tools (e.g., project/portfolio tools, collaboration suites, and dashboards); strong proficiency in structuring high‑quality program documentation and reports.
