The HR Operations Country Lead plays a vital role in bridging the gap between the HR Shared Services Center (SSC) and employees/managers within a specific country. This role is responsible for managing local HR operational activities, ensuring smooth execution of HR processes, and acting as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries within the country. The Local Team Lead is a champion for the HR SSC model, driving adoption of global processes, supporting the transition of activities to the SSC, and collaborating closely with the SSC to deliver exceptional HR services to the country.

About the Role

Local HR Operations Management: 
Manage and oversee local HR operational activities, which may include: 
•    Payroll processing and administration
•    Benefits administration
•    Time and attendance management
•    Employee data management
•    HR reporting and analytics
•    Onboarding and offboarding support
Ensure accurate and timely execution of HR processes in compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Identify and resolve operational issues and escalate complex cases to the appropriate SSC tower or HR specialist.

Single Point of Contact (SPOC): 
Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers within the country.
Provide timely and accurate information, guidance, and support on HR policies, processes, and programs.
Build strong relationships with employees and managers, fostering a positive and customer-centric HR experience.

HR SSC Champion: 
o    Promote the value and benefits of the HR SSC model within the country.
o    Drive adoption of global HR processes and systems.
o    Support the transition of HR activities to the SSC, ensuring a smooth and efficient knowledge transfer.
o    Collaborate closely with the SSC tower leads and teams to ensure seamless service delivery and address any local challenges.

Continuous Improvement: 
o    Identify opportunities to improve local HR processes and service delivery.
o    Provide feedback to the SSC on process challenges, customer feedback, and areas for optimization.
o    Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices within the HR SSC model.

Compliance & Risk Management: 
o    Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
o    Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
o    Identify and mitigate potential risks related to HR operations within the country.

Collaboration & Communication: 
o    Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the country, including HR Business Partners, local management, and employee representatives.
o    Effectively communicate HR updates, policy changes, and process improvements to employees and managers.
o    Collaborate with other HR functions (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards) to ensure alignment and effective HR service delivery.

About You
•    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    3+ years of experience in HR operations, shared services, or a related field.
•    Strong understanding of local labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
•    Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
•    Experience with HR technology and systems.
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•    Strong understanding of the HR SSC model and a commitment to its success.
•    Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving process improvement.
