About the role

Mission:

  • Adecco Group ITD has established a new 3-year ITD Strategy and defined a selection of Strategic Programs to be successfully delivered to ensure the implementation of the ITD strategy.
  • The Program Management Officer will play a crucial role to ensure Delivery Excellence and execution. You will be responsible for the respect of the Program and Project management framework and standards. You will also contribute to maturing how to execute, deliver and report on ITD Programs and Projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Understand the ITD Strategy.
  • Implement the ITD PMO Governance & the PM Framework.
  • Monitor performance and delivery of assigned programs and projects within.
  • Adhere to Adecco Group policies, processes and guidelines.
  • Represent Adecco Group ITD in a professional manner.
What you’ll be doing
  • Be the right-hand person of the program lead.
  • Work in close collaboration with one or more Program leads helping to define clear scope, objectives, dependencies, and timelines of the Program and/ or each project underneath.
  • Provide expertise on TAG ITD Project Management methodology and ensure compliance to PMO governance standards and processes.
  • Ensure tollgate exit criteria is adhered to.
  • Support Program managers to build, document and keep up to date the project plans and PM reporting tools.
  • Follow-up on deliverables not being adhered to.
  • Contribute to high quality of data & deliverables required along the assigned Program and or project(s) lifecycle(s).
  • Ensure, review and analyze project data for accuracy and completeness in the Project Management tool.
  • Understand program/project status e.g. why red/amber/green? If applicable, what is back to green plan.
  • Contribute to stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the program.
  • Support the identification and resolution of cross-project dependencies, conflicts and escalations.
  • Monitor & report on Program performance, set KPIs and Program risks, issues and changes.
  • Be able to coordinate and communicate with the program lead(s), project manager(s), technical leads, business owners and or senior management on status, financials, risks, and issues of the program.
  • Contribute to prepare executive project summary presentations for leadership.
  • Support Steering Committee preparation & facilitation as requested.
  • Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience; provides training and guidance as required.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity within the program and across the organization.
About you
  • Expert knowledge of best practice Project Management.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project and program management in a multi-initiative, multi-national and multi-priority environment.
  • Proven capability of managing multiple priorities effectively and performing under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of an organization (including executive management).

Education:

  • University degree required; areas of focus in business, computer science, information technology, project management, or business preferred.  
  • PM certification nice to have (PMP or PRINCE2).
  • English (Expert), additional language is advantageous.
