About Adecco

At Adecco, part of the global Adecco Group, our purpose is clear: making the future work for everyone. We help individuals thrive and organizations succeed through talent and technology. Our three global business units – Adecco, Akkodis, and LHH – work across industries to meet the evolving demands of the world of work.

With a presence in over 60 countries, we are one of the world’s largest employers – and we take pride in putting our people, clients, and candidates at the heart of everything we do. Our culture is built on Passion, Collaboration, Inclusion, Courage, and always keeping the Customer at the heart – values we live by every day to make a real and positive impact.

About the Role

As Head of Large Cities, you will be a key member of Adecco Sweden’s Management Team and hold full responsibility for leading our business in the major city areas of Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö, as well as other key markets. You will manage and develop a team of Area Branch Managers across these regions, driving business growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

This is a pivotal leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric, and results-driven environment – with a strong passion for building high-performing teams and delivering outstanding value to clients and candidates.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the business area to exceed financial, sales, and delivery targets
  • Setting and executing a market-driven action plan aligned with company strategy
  • Driving performance through regular goal setting, feedback, and talent development
  • Acting as a role model by living Adecco’s values and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture
  • Overseeing budget, profitability, and investment decisions within the business area
  • Ensuring compliance with Adecco’s quality, environmental, and work environment policies
  • Representing the business in union negotiations and ensuring employee well-being and development

You will also be responsible for ensuring consistent implementation of national strategies and working methods within your region – always aiming to outperform the market and create value in everything we do.

About You

To succeed in this role, we believe you are a strong business leader with a hands-on approach and a strategic mindset. You are passionate about people and performance – with the courage to lead change, the inclusion to bring out the best in others, and the collaboration to build success across teams.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Proven leadership experience in a multi-site, customer-facing organization
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience driving business growth and profitability
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire, develop and lead high-performing teams
  • A structured and analytical mindset with a passion for quality and operational excellence
  • Experience managing budgets and making data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with Swedish labor laws, union negotiations, and HR policies is an advantage
  • Fluency in Swedish and English

You believe in bold action, continuous improvement, and keeping clients and candidates at the center of everything you do. If you’re ready to take on a key leadership role with national impact – and help shape the future of work – we’d love to hear from you.
