Your Role
In this role, you will analyse and redesign business processes to improve efficiency, eliminate redundancies, and introduce automation where appropriate. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into functional specifications that align with business objectives and technical feasibility. You will support organisation-wide digital and data transformation initiatives, facilitate workshops, and drive
adoption of new systems and tools. Additionally, you will design and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards, ensure data pipelines are accurate and optimised, and analyse recruitment and operational data to uncover insights that inform strategic decisions. Acting as a subject matter expert in business analytics, you will validate data accuracy, support change management, and provide training to users, ultimately enhancing processes and enabling informed, data-driven
decisions across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement:
- Analyse existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, or pain points.
- Partner with stakeholders to re-engineer processes, introduce automation where appropriate, and align workflows with best practices.
- Develop and document future-state process maps, ensuring changes are scalable, measurable, and sustainable.
- Implement continuous improvement frameworks to track the effectiveness of redesigned processes and measure business impact.
Support Transformation Initiatives:
- Actively contribute to organisation-wide digital and data transformation projects, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and aligned to strategic goals.
- Translate transformation objectives into actionable business and technical requirements for IT and data teams.
- Facilitate workshops, testing, and feedback sessions to drive adoption of new systems and processes.
- Monitor and report on the progress of transformation initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for further improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and data requirements.
Business Analytics:
- Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support informed business decisions.
- Analyse recruitment and business operations data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work across various business units to ensure data pipelines and sources are accurate, reliable, and optimised for reporting.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional specifications for technical teams.
- Support ongoing business process improvements through analysis, modelling, and solution recommendations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on business analytics within the recruitment technology ecosystem.
- Conduct data validation activities and ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Assist with change management and user training related to data tools and analytics solutions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in analytics and recruitment technology.
Required Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst in IT or related environments.
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Advanced experience with Power BI – including report creation, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard development.
- Experience working with data from recruitment systems (ATS/CRM) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SQL, data modelling, and data warehouse concepts.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience documenting business processes, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in the recruitment industry or working with HR tech platforms (e.g.
- Bullhorn, JobAdder, Workday, etc.).
- Relevant certifications in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Power BI (e.g.
- Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate – PL-300).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and data lakes.
- Experience with RPA or low-code platforms (e.g. Power Automate, UiPath).

You have a strong understanding of recruitment operations and are adept at bridging the gap between data and decision-making. You thrive in collaborative environments and are equally comfortable working independently on complex analysis.
