Directory Engineer
Prague, Czech Republic Apply for RoleIdentity and Access Management is a critical control area that effects our operations across the globe. As a member of our Identity and Access Management team, you will support us in the engineering, implementation and running of Active Directory Services including management tools, automation technologies, security and service offerings, globally. You will also be responsible for supporting our wider Identity Services operations and projects for Active Directory, Entra ID. The role coordinates activities between architecture, engineering, operations, security and risk internal teams and vendors to make IAM a success for our organisation.
What you’ll be doing- Provide support in the Directory Services operations team (Active Directory \ Entra ID)
- Troubleshoot Active Directory or Entra ID authentication and authorisation issues, replication, DNS, ADCS (Windows PKI)
- Setting up app registrations and SSO/SAML in Entra ID.
- Writing PowerShell scripts for process automation and reporting
- Provide input to other teams where technical advice is needed regarding Directory Services \ DNS \ PKI
- Assist operations with Service Requests and Incidents relating to authentication and directory services.
- Assist projects with all IAM related change delivery – up to and including options analysis, alignment with organizational objectives for cost \ security \ platform strategy etc. Design input and review, testing, hands on build tasks, coordination with other teams and change validation.
- Leading on P1 incidents to support resolution
- Maintain service catalogue to service owner requirements.
- Manage assets (hardware or software, people, processes…) of your service.
- Identify and report risks to Adecco process \ service owners.
- Interact with external partners and service providers.
- Assist with understanding of security principles and knowledge of mainstream workplace security products, including penetration testing planning, reviews and remediation and risk and audit operations.
- Service Improvement initiatives – identify opportunities and react to service owner requests.
- Minimum of five years experience within a large multinational Directory Services architecture across AD, Entra ID, Entra ID Connect, Entra ID Password Protect, Defender For Identity, DNS, PKI and related service management and security operations processes and tools at organisations with similar scale and global coverage to Adecco.
- Strong Windows Server configuration and security knowledge.
- Automation development via Powershell.
- Azure and Azure Stack HCI management for hosting and service management processes across the IAM stack.
- Strong, SME level Identity technology knowledge and specially with Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
- Good communications skills with capability of discussing solutions across both business and technical context to varying audiences.
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments and domains.
- Versatile and pragmatic action-oriented approach coupled with the capacity of handling and prioritizing multiple/conflicting demands.
- Experience with Privileged Access Management solutions.
- University degree preferably in a technical subject or any comparable education.
- ITIL V3/V4 certification.
- Accreditations in Microsoft Identity technologies.
- Travel Requirement: Occasional – Europe.
