Deal Manager

The Deal Manager role is focused on supporting global and strategic international opportunities by working closely with Sales teams, Subject-matter experts, and the VP of Deal Management throughout the complete deal lifecycle — from qualification to contract signature. The role involves coordinating pursuit teams, managing bidding processes, building client-centric proposals and presentations, supporting negotiations, and ensuring compliance with internal processes, financial guidance, and client requirements.
What you’ll be doing- Work with Sales teams, Subject-matter experts, and the VP of Deal Management in the qualification of global and strategic international opportunities
- Participate in the preparation and shaping of anticipated opportunities and future deals
- Support the design of global solutions and improve the strategy and narrative (win theme) together with the Sales Lead and stakeholders
- Lead and coordinate the Pursuit team and assign responsibilities and roles to team members
- Support the processing of tender responses, creation of proposals, and sales presentations
- Support the closing of deals, including legal and commercial aspects
Deal lifecycle responsibilities:
- Be involved in the complete deal lifecycle, from lead qualification to contract signature before implementation
- Ensure Global Opportunities’ Owners respect the Deal Process
- Work together with Global Functions (Finance, Operations, Legal, etc.) and the VP of Deal Management to review and assess opportunities and participate in “go-no go” decisions
- Build pursuit teams together with Global Opportunities’ Owners and define responsibilities and roles
Opportunity preparation and advisory:
- Prepare and shape opportunities anticipated several months in advance
- Participate in discussions with clients’ stakeholders (HR, Procurement, Operations, etc.) when necessary
- Deliver advisory services to clients where applicable
Bid and proposal management
- Coordinate bidding processes including stakeholder coordination, planning, project management, and preparation of deliverables
- Organize kick-off calls and meetings
- Ensure all stakeholders follow defined roadmaps and milestones
- Compile, proofread, and improve content received from internal stakeholders
- Answer questionnaires and build proposals/presentations with support from Global Opportunities Owners, Subject-matter experts, Content Writers, and Graphic Designers
- Ensure proposals comply with client requirements and official instructions
- Work with the Finance Team to ensure finance-related processes are respected
- Compile pricing elements from stakeholders and support opportunity owners to ensure pricing is aligned with market levels and finance guidance
- Support pricing strategy, rebates, incentives, and pricing conditions
- Support the design of client solutions together with global functions including Digital, Sales, Operations, Delivery, CSR, Legal, Finance, and Pricing teams
- Lead the creation of client-centric proposals and presentations aligned with strategic decisions
- Ensure timely submission of proposals
Negotiation and closing support:
- Communicate regularly with Global Opportunities Owners to ensure readiness for negotiation rounds
- Maintain the VP of Deal Management and senior leaders informed about negotiation progress and escalation needs
- Support and coordinate negotiation rounds together with Global Opportunities Owners
- Participate in client calls and negotiations when required
- Support both commercial and legal negotiations together with the Legal Team
- Remain engaged until contract signature
Ongoing responsibilities:
- Update the Deal Team’s internal reporting platform
- Support the VP of Deal Management in bid-related projects
- Produce concise bid best practices and support process improvements
- Build repeatable content and boilerplate presentations for common solutions
- Participate in initiatives improving and professionalizing Deal and Bid Management practices
- Participate in the development of a Functional Community
- 3 to 10 years of experience in a similar role (Bid Management) or Sales roles
- Experience in a service industry environment and international organization
- Project Management and/or Pricing experience is considered an advantage
- Commercial diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Project Management, or related subjects
- Fluent English is mandatory
- Additional languages are appreciated (French, Spanish, German, Italian, etc.)
- Willingness to travel regularly (5–25%)
- Microsoft (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
- Salesforce
- Experience with Proposal Management SaaS and GenAI tools is a plus
- Experience with Loopio (Ombud, Responsive.io, etc.) is an advantage

- Understanding of P&L and financial concepts
- Ability to understand pricing structures
