Poland Apply for RoleAs part of the Global People Operations team and Human Resources organization, the HR Coordinator, role plays a key role in Pontoon’s team. The role must work collectively to provide the best onboarding experience to our team members. Leveraging technology to provide a stream-lined and efficient process, while not losing the personal and human side of the experience.
The HR Coordinator supports various projects, processes and initiatives throughout the employee life-cycle for Pontooners, most often, within region, however, global alignment in data and processes is key, so collaborating on projects and
initiatives to drive global alignment is also fundamental.
- Owns the onboarding experience & process for new joiners to our organization, from the point of verbal offer. This includes offer letters, onboarding paperwork, applicable background checks, necessary acknowledgments or documentation, based on a complex matrix resulting from our onboarding efforts varying for location and position.
- Actively seeks ways to do things better, with a focus on customer experience, gaining efficiencies, maintaining a high level of consistency and compliance.
- Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of entries and updates in our global HRIS system.
- Collects and validates documents related to new hires, rehires, promotions, transfers, etc. and ensures all employment requirements are met; coordinates documentation to Colleague Payroll as applicable.
- Initiates, tracks and reports on background checks, including basic adjudication as needed; proactively monitors new hires for when they are cleared to officially start.
- Submits IT tickets for new hires, ensuring the timely and accurate set up per documented request.
- Monitors compliance training status; follows-up with employees who have not met requirements.
- Provides administrative support and assistance during cyclical and ad hoc processes, including, but not limited to, performance reviews, goal setting, bonus plan acknowledgement, exit surveys and leave of absence.
- Compiles data and prepares reports and presentations for consideration by leadership.
- Creates and runs metric reports to assist team and business unit stakeholders in evaluating effectiveness of HR programs and services.
- Accountable for the timely upkeep of electronic and paper filing systems.
- Escalates issues to other team members as appropriate.
- Proactively works to solve problems, bring enhancements to the team and processes and provide outstanding customer service to internal and external ‘customers’.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of administrative experience - HR background is a plus.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, including teamwork.
- Ability to perform accurately in a detail-oriented environment while continually demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer service.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignment simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
