FP&A Manager

Leads the financial reporting and analysis functions for Adecco Canada. Ensures the weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, forecasting and annual budgeting processes are completed accurately and on time
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manages the FP&A team ensuring relevant and accurate analysis, research, observations and reporting of weekly and monthly financial results and key performance indicators are provided in a timely manner. Compares and monitors current actual and year-to-date performance with prior year, forecast and budgeted results.
- In collaboration with the FP&A team, prepares regular Monthly Business Report (MBR), preliminary and detailed Forecasts, Quarterly Business Report (QBR), Semi-annual Strategic Business Reviews (SBR) and multiple annual Budget submissions as well as ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required.
- Develops, maintains and makes recommendations for enhancements to the management reports that support decision making to impact financial results.
- Together with the FP&A team, gathers, updates and maintains financial and other data in various tools and systems. Drives data accuracy through timely validation and reconciliation between multiple data sources.
- Develops and makes recommendations for improvements to the budgeting and forecasting tools including maintaining complex spreadsheets and Oracle EPM data, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Acts as the primary liaison with the Americas and Group finance departments related to requests for financial reporting and analysis, and other submission requirements.
- Is a subject matter expert on financial reporting systems including but not limited to Oracle EPM, MicroStrategy and Adecco’s Global Reporting Product (GRP).
- Responds in a timely manner to field and senior management inquiries and acts as an escalation point for complex issues and questions.
- Recruits, selects, trains, develops and motivates colleagues on the FP&A team. Supervises staff, providing coaching and performance development as needed. Drives performance accountability and conducts performance appraisals.
- Performs other duties and participates in special projects as assigned

Completion of post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or an equivalent program. | A minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years progressive experience in a related field. | Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Proficient in other Microsoft packages such as Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. |
Has or is pursuing an Accounting designation. | Experience using Oracle EPM and MicroStrategy. | |
A minimum of two (2) years supervisory / management experience | Thorough understanding of US GAAP. |

* The posted range (Base Salary) for this position is between $80,000-$100,000 per annum.
