It serves as a strategic differentiator for LHH, elevating the brand and deepening client relationships through high-touch, bespoke advisory engagements.
The Director of Assessment & Diagnostics is responsible for creating, implementing and improving best in-class diagnostics to support the full suite of our Advisory service. Their remit will include both psychometric assessments but also the design of new consulting diagnostics that can be leveraged to enhance the full potential and commercial scope of our Advisory endeavors. These diagnostics will be used to benchmark and evaluate a client’s current state, inform areas of focus, and measure outcomes over time.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with internal partners such as Advisory Practice Leaders, Regional Directors and product/innovation SMEs across our business lines to ensure our assessment portfolio supports our commercial success in the market.

Key Accountabilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead a new global product strategy for assessment, diagnostics, and analytics.
- Integrate these offerings into every consulting engagement across leadership, culture, org design and change management.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the assessment market across human capital consulting to ensure LHH is innovative and relevant to customers.
- Oversee resource planning, project delivery, and budget management.
Solution Development & Innovation
- Design and evolve high-impact assessment/diagnostic tools and subsequent outputs that provide measurement at the individual, group and organizational level. Nb. These should not be limited to psychometrics only.
- Ensure solutions are evidence-based, scalable, and commercially viable.
- Work alongside go-to-market and sales enablement teams to ensure sellers have the appropriate knowledge and resources to effectively position these products with customers.
- Evolve and create analytical capabilities through dashboards and aggregate analysis that adds critical value to customers during consulting engagements.
- Leveraging modern approaches such as generative AI, machine learning, or predictive modelling to create diagnostics that provide scalable, real-time insights for clients.
Client Engagement
- Lead and sponsor strategic client engagements as required including workshops, pilots, and executive presentations.
- Support business development through proposals and pitches.
- Monitor solution performance and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.
- Work closely with project delivery teams to ensure engagements are successful and continuous improvement actions are delivered upon.
- Present at key conferences, industry events and client seminars as required to grow LHH’s brand in the marketplace.
Analytics & Commercial Oversight
- Define and track key performance metrics for assessment solutions.
- Report on financial and operational KPIs.
- Contribute to pipeline growth and strategic planning.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales to position assessments as a differentiator in sales conversations and integrate them into LHH’s go-to-market strategy to generate pipeline and revenue.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all assessment practices meet global standards for ethics, data privacy, and scientific rigor.
- Align with LHH’s internal policies and external regulations.
All About You
- 10+ years of experience in leadership development, talent assessment, and human capital consulting or other relevant area.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctorate) in I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field desirable.
- Demonstrable deep expertise in psychometric assessment and, ideally, has created non-psychometric diagnostics (maturity models, leadership capability frameworks, cultural health indices) at an organizational level to benchmark maturity and capability.
- Cross industry experience in sales, delivery, and implementation of assessment solutions.
- Prior experience with product development and/or assessment technology is preferred.
- Strong understanding of people analytics in order to create aggregate data capabilities.
- Business savvy with global background of being the client-facing subject matter expert.
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationships quickly through being highly articulate, credible and influential.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and thrives in an entrepreneurial and growth orientated environment
- Exceptional facilitator with advanced verbal and written communication skills.

- Compensation: $150,000 - $225,000 plus bonus
Placement within this range is determined based on geographic location, experience, and other compensatory factors.
- Benefits: Employees who opt into benefits as part of full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis per year, Paid Holidays, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave.PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
