Accounting Assistant, Accounts Payable
Hong Kong SAR Apply for RoleA European Fortune 500 MNC with a people-centric culture is looking to groom an ambitious accounting & finance professional to be a future leader of the finance team. It will be a demanding role but expect rapid progression if you are able to demonstrate attitude and aptitude to take on greater responsibilities.
What you will be doing?
- Handle the accounting books, ledgers and vouchers for all transactions related to accounts payable
- Monitor and check staff expense claims to comply with group policy
- Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors, and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with internal departments for general accounting clerical duties
- Check and perform bank payments within tight timeframe
- Prepare balance sheet item breakdown
- Prepare bank reconciliation
- Involve in month end closing on responsive areas
- Participate in ad hoc assignments or other projects as directed by the supervisor
Who we are looking for?
- Degree holder in Accounting/ Finance or related disciplines
- 1-2 Years working experience in related areas
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel
- Self-motivated, independent, detailed minded, hard working with good interpersonal skills
- Good command in written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Able to work under pressure with strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines
- Less experienced candidates will be considered as Accounting Assistant
