The Candidate Experience and Innovation team has been given the mandate to define new, distinctive user experience based on AI innovation.

As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building new Talent experiences using the latest technologies such as AI Agents and Generative AI. These experiences will be initially focused on our Candidate audience and are aiming to reimagine user experience of a candidate in their interaction with the Group and recruiters during their hiring process. A candidate experience will include the user interface where the candidate is interacting with the Agent, AI backend components, as well as a data infrastructure and data model to deliver personalized experiences compliant with our responsible AI policies. The technical stack and in particular AI components will be either internal assets or capabilities provided by strategic partners. Scalable designs and architectures will enable to deploy the Candidate Experiences across the 40+ markets of the Adecco Group.  

Over time, the AI experiences could be extended to other audiences such as associates, recruiters, customers, or other internal users.

What you’ll be doing
  • Contributing to the specification and design of AI Agent applications and backend services.
  • Developing and implementing scalable, robust, and maintainable software based on AI Agent.
  • Ensuring high-quality, secure, and compliant code through regular reviews and best practices.
  • Collaborating with AI Engineers to integrate machine learning models and generative AI components into production systems, enabling Agentic experiences.
  • Applying the full development cycle of an agentic systems including CI/CD for AI Agents, Testing, guardrails, monitoring, and optimizing.
  • Collaborating with Product Managers, UX Designers, and other technical teams to build high-quality products.
  • Staying up to date with emerging AI and software development technologies.
About you
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
  • Hands-on experience with AI technologies and cloud-based architectures.
  • Experiences in containerized applications, serverless architectures, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Understanding of data pipelines, vector databases, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques for AI-powered applications.
  • Experience in optimizing AI model inference for real-time applications, addressing latency and scalability challenges.
  • Experience working closely with AI Engineers and Product Managers to translate AI capabilities into scalable software solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile, iterative environment.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous learning in AI and software development.
  • Product-oriented mindset with a focus on leveraging AI technologies to create innovative user experiences.
  • Business fluency in English.
