Adecco Group- Director Compensation US
Florida, Remote Apply for RoleThe objective of this role is to help attract, retain, engage, and motivate talent across multiple countries by leading and orchestrating all activities related to Compensation. This includes programs, processes, and solutions.
The incumbent will fulfil the role of a credible thought and strategic leader to the business and HR, and be accountable for delivering consistent, locally applicable practices on all Compensation matters.
The Director, Compensation will structurally implement and improve policies, guidelines and processes on base pay, short-term and long-term incentive plans, recognition, benefits, job grading, and international mobility related activities applying local market thinking while aligning to Adecco Group’s Global Rewards’ principles and philosophy.
What you’ll be doingResponsibilities
Compensation Activities:
- Lead broad-based compensation processes, including the annual compensation review, market intelligence, and benchmarking, ensuring fair and equitable execution aligned with Group Reward principles and philosophy.
- Collaborate with local HR teams to ensure retention and total reward activities comply with local government requirements.
- Lead Job Architecture and Job Grading activities for a business line, ensuring accurate position grading and maintained internal comparisons.
- Provide data and benchmarking information to Recruitment Partners.
Incentive Plans:
- Oversee and provide strategic guidance for the implementation and administration of field/sales incentive compensation plans, including modeling and analysis to ensure ROI and cost-effectiveness.
- Review, maintain, and ensure alignment of the short-term incentive plan framework and compensation plans with the Group Rewards strategy.
- Steer and manage the design and review of incentive plans.
- Partner closely with Finance to monitor performance levels and forecasting, establish participation criteria, and implement controls and governance for short-term incentive plans and payouts using appropriate data modeling.
Business Partnering and relationships.
- Responsible for establishing, building, and maintaining strong relationships that support strategic objectives.
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing with various levels of employees and management.
Transformation, Project Management & Continuous Improvement
- Drive Rewards Transformation initiatives to embed group standards for the use of technologies, standardized methodologies, change communications and other levers to drive process quality and efficiencies.
- Lead and participates in global or regional projects to drive continuous improvement and streamlining of current practices.
- Steer local teams to align, streamline and consistently apply and use the resources, tools, policy, and processes for pay and performance.
Additional Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and practices in compensation and benefits.
- Develop and deliver training programs for managers and HR teams on effective compensation practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure the integrity of compensation data and processes.
Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Professional certifications in compensation (e.g., CCP or equivalent) are desirable.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, or Compensation with a preference for experience in large, complex organizational setups.
- Expertise: Proficient in all aspects of broad-based compensation including market intelligence, global grading, and STI & LTI design.
- Analytical Skills: Strong demonstrated analytical skills.
- Communication: Clear and professional communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to present compensation material effectively.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across functions, business units, and geographies.
- Relationship Building: Can develop strong working relationships across all levels within the organization and with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Process Improvement: Strong interest and experience in and ability to improve practices and processes.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities.
- Integrity: Reputation for integrity and dedicated work ethic with a desire for ownership and accountability.
- Discretion: Compliant, discrete, and independent operator.
- Numeracy and Business Acumen: Highly numerate with strong business acumen.
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25%.
