Team Lead Supplier Operations
Apply for RoleThe Supplier Operations Team Leader, reporting to the Global Head of Supply Chain Management, oversees the Supplier Operations Center of Excellence (SO COE) for smooth customer transitions from implementation to business-as-usual (BAU). This role drives process efficiencies, monitors supplier compliance, identifies and manages risks, and reports to Senior Supplier Managers for risk mitigation.
The Team Leader ensures adherence to compliance requirements, conducts documents and audit checks, meets SLAs, and maintains accurate data in the Supply Chains Central Database. Collaboration with the Supply Chain Management team is also a key responsibility.
What you’ll be doing- Acts as key global contact for Supply Chain, Program Delivery Teams and Back Office Support Teams
- Guarantees as per the client, country and MSP Service requirements, the Supplier Operations function is set up to successfully ensure suppliers are;
- meeting all on/off boarding compliance,
- continually meeting document compliance
- being audited
- Provides Suppliers Operations Advisors, Supplier Operations Specialists and Supplier Compliance Advisors adequate oversight, training, and leadership to ensure potential is being reached
- Manages and review reports regularly on all Supplier Operations BAU activities
- Ensures a smooth transition from implementation/BAU project to the COE
- Acts as the day-to-day escalation point of contact for all direct reports
- Documents issues and maintains a formal tracking process for all assigned tasks along with creating Statement of Process (SOPs), Process maps for SO COE
- Provides analytical reporting on supplier engagements across all activities in the Supply Chain team to showcase trends, propose best practices and highlight lessons learned
- Enhances the Supply Chain central database and processes to increase efficiency
- Develops action plans to resolve issues in conjunction with Global Head of Supply Chain Management and Senior Supplier Managers
- Establishes, fosters, and maintains working relationships with colleagues, Pontoon Senior Management, Pontoon MSP Program teams and Suppliers
- Actively participates in MSP team meetings, leadership meetings, supplier forums, and individual supplier training
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
- Able to step in the role of the Supplier Operations Advisor, Supplier Operations Specialist and or Supplier Compliance Advisor at any given time and execute deliverables to 100% accuracy
- Maintaining the contact list of our program delivery teams and all back-office support teams
- To create process maps to on/off board suppliers by client, country and MSP Service
- To maintain up-to-date process and compliance checklists by client, country and MSP Service
- To maintain up-to-date supplier on/off boarding communication templates
- To map and maintain up-to-date supplier document compliance and Supplier compliance audit processes by client, country and MSP Service as outlined in the main client contracts
- Assists in Supply Chain risk management workshops with Supply Chain Management team
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Lean Six Sigma Certification in Green and Yellow Belts
- Four (4) years of related experience in compliance, preferably in the contingent workforce industry.
- Supervisory/Management experience
- Experience managing a global team central hub across different time zone
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills Ability to develop, improve and streamline processes to meet established goals and objectives
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
