Opportunity for a Payroll Officer to join our business. This fast-paced role would suit someone who would like to be a part of a large organization to utilize skills learnt and build on new skills.

About The Role

  • Responsible for the prompt and accurate on-boarding of Associates into our payroll system (PeopleSoft & FastTrack), which involve follow ups with branches in case of missing or incorrect information
  • Process timely and accurately timesheets, expenses and leaves, ensuring maximum level of compliance towards internal controls and applicable regulations
  • Ensure payroll errors are resolved using the appropriate resolution journey
  • Promptly escalate cases, system errors, risks and concerns to Payroll Team Leader
  • Provide exceptional customer service through responsive, effective and timely response to queries via phone, cases or email

About You

  • 1 year of experience in a Payroll
  • Sound knowledge of government payroll processes, including award interpretation
  • Statutory reporting including superannuation, payroll tax, workers compensation, etc.
  • Solid Microsoft Office Package experience
  • Sound communication skills, verbal and written
  • Manage superannuation compliance and administration
  • Able to work collaboratively to solve issues and problems
