About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced recruiter or recruitment team leader with a strong background in business development to manage and grow our permanent recruitment desk. You will also mentor and support a team of five consultants (permanent and temporary desks), driving sales and leveraging opportunities to ensure team success.
This role is ideal for someone with hunger, ambition, and the intuitive intelligence needed to lead client meetings and drive the growth of the specialist market in Dublin. You will be hands-on, thriving on business development, cold calling, and client interactions, while also stepping into a leadership role within the team.

What you'll be doingBusiness Development:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating credibility and expertise to secure business.
- Follow client strategies closely, ensuring trust and consistency through regular sales calls and networking.
- Conduct market mapping to identify and capitalize on all potential opportunities.
Candidate Management:
- Develop a robust talent pool through comprehensive market mapping to present top-tier candidates to clients.
- Oversee the candidate sourcing process, including screening, arranging interviews, and managing feedback.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates, including post-placement support and administration.
Team Leadership:
- Coach, mentor, and support the team of five consultants, driving them to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Provide energy and mentorship, ensuring a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Work closely with the Operational Lead, Stephen Flanagan, to manage the office and drive business success.
About youWe are looking for an individual who is eager, hungry to sell, and ready to take on a leadership role while still maintaining a strong personal billing desk. Experience in finance or tech recruitment is highly desirable.
