The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing efficient and effective support to both employees and managers within the NAM HR SSC. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely completion of Form I-9 documentation for all newly hired employees as well as handling a variety of HR-related inquiries, transactions, and administrative activities. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a customer-centric approach, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of HR processes.
What you’ll be doingI-9 Process and Compliance:
- Responsible for timely and accurate completion of the Form I-9 employment verification process, including completion of the E-Verify process.
- Maintain and audit I-9 documentation to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on I-9 compliance, providing guidance to HR Shared Service Center team members and others as needed.
Administrative HR Support:
- Assist with other HR activities such as unemployment claims processing, employment verifications, onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, and other HR-related processes.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to employee questions, ensuring a positive employee experience.
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Support the enforcement of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related issues and initiatives.
- High school education required, bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field preferred
- Previous experience in HR shared services, customer service, or HR administration is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in using HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting SLA’s.
