About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager ITD (Information Technologies for Development) Finance to drive our financial strategy and enhance financial intelligence on the ITD spend of The Adecco Group, in close collaboration with local and central ITD controlling teams. This position requires a balance of strong technical financial skills, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive projects with local and central teams to further improve our ITD controlling and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of project management, stakeholder engagement, people leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. This role is part of the Group ITD Finance team, responsible for financial planning and analysis of ITD spending within The Adecco Group, and will report to the VP Finance ITD.

What you’ll be doing
  • Design, analyze, and implement finance-related projects and initiatives with local and central teams, as well as ITD key contacts, to further improve ITD controlling and reporting processes.
  • Challenge and rethink existing frameworks, actively proposing innovative strategies to drive cost and operational efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to optimize operations and improve financial processes.
  • Analyze global actual ITD spending (Capex and Opex) to ensure transparency and efficiency.
  • Ensure correct capitalization of ITD projects in line with US GAAP requirements.
  • Oversee correct recharging of central ITD costs to the market.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights and guidance.
  • Ensure robust design of internal controls over financial controlling and reporting processes.
  • Oversee timely preparation and review of assigned internal controls to maintain compliance and accuracy.
  • Build and sustain relationships with international partners and leadership to enhance financial transparency and accountability.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Present financial insights to senior leadership, influencing strategic business decisions.
  • Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring effective project execution and results.
About you
  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Additional qualifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
  • At least seven years of experience in Finance, preferably in a Big 4 firm or a large multinational organization.
  • Strong technical expertise in Accounting and Controlling processes, including practical experience with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills, capable of deriving actionable business insights.
  • Strong strategic thinking and ability to contribute to overall business direction.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience in team development and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, driving execution and results.
