Community Engagement Manager
Candidatar -seThe Innovation Foundation is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to design, build, and nurture a dynamic ecosystem of stakeholders that supports innovation, collaboration, and long-term impact. This role is central to creating meaningful connections across diverse communities, ensuring strong engagement, shared value, and sustained participation. You will play a critical role in strengthening relationships with experts, partners, and practitioners, enabling collective progress in the evolving world of work.
What you’ll be doing- Curate, develop, and activate a diverse community of stakeholders aligned to organisational priorities and impact goals.
- Design and evolve an integrated ecosystem of experts, working groups, fellows, partners, mentors, advisors, and alumni.
- Identify emerging stakeholder groups and adapt community strategies as needs evolve.
- Create compelling value propositions that attract, engage, and retain high-quality community members.
- Build and maintain sustainable engagement pathways that enable collaboration and shared value creation.
- Develop a deep understanding of community needs, motivations, and expectations.
- Track engagement levels and community health metrics to inform reporting and strategic decisions.
- Continuously evolve community structures based on insights, feedback, and organisational direction.
- Strengthen systems and infrastructure to support scalable community engagement.
- Improve onboarding, engagement, and recognition processes for community members.
- Enable effective knowledge capture and sharing across the community.
- 5-7 years of experience working in complex, global projects
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, global communities or stakeholder ecosystems.
- Strong ability to work across diverse groups, cultures, and disciplines.
- Proven experience engaging both online and offline communities using digital tools and platforms.
- Background working with start-ups, innovation programmes, incubators, or accelerator environments.
- Experience building processes and systems that support delivery at scale.
- Skilled in facilitation, human-centred design, or design thinking approaches.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Strong commitment to purpose, social impact, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, execution-focused environments.
- Comfortable working with remote teams and traveling when required.
- Professional fluency in English, with additional languages considered an advantage.
