As that future evolves, we are reinventing the way we work, and the talent and technology solutions we deliver. As Communications Director for Global Enabling Functions, you will:

  • Lead a  team responsible for communications business partnering across our Global Enabling Functions (HR, Finance, Legal and Information Technology & Digital.
  • Business partner with one of the above Global Enabling Functions, working with leadership teams, empowering them to raise employee engagement and navigate our people and lead them through change.
  • Drive strategic communications to support our transformation journey. Providing expert advice and counsel to design and deliver strategic and business critical communication programmes, ensuring clear alignment to Group Communications priorities and messaging.
  • Use strategic orientation, world-class communication skills, and flawless execution capabilities to develop the reputation of Group Communications as a trusted partner on all communications matters for our Global Enabling Functions.
What you’ll be doing
  • Develop and implement communications strategies aligned to the priorities of the Global Enabling Function and broader company strategy
  • Provide strategic counsel to Function Executives and their leadership teams on communications approaches and messaging on global strategies and projects, advising and working with the business to agree the detailed communications plan.
  • Develop a small community of collaboration across the Enabling Function communications team, encouraging team coaching and development.
  • Lead the delivery of key communication initiatives within the Function, including executive messaging and profile management, town halls and recognition initiatives
  • Support large-scale organisational change programmes with effective change communications planning and alignment with Group Communications
  • Drive communications for company-wide strategic initiatives (e.g., Gender Parity, Generative AI, Talent and Reward programmes)
  • Ensure cohesive messaging across Global Functions while maintaining alignment with Group Communications.
  • Work as part of one cohesive Group Communications Function, directing and supporting other members of the team to achieve Functional and Group Communication priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Group Communication team Centres of Expertise for external relations and campaign planning to align internal and external messaging and bring best practise into the function.
  • Build the reputation of the Group Communications function as a trusted advisor to the business.
About you

Experience

  • University degree in Communication, Journalism, Politics, PR or similar field
  • 10+ years’ experience in communications roles and experience in a leadership role within an international corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering internal communication strategies within a complex and international business environment
  • Experience in corporate transformation and change management
  • History of successfully working with C-Suite leaders
  • Fluency in English.
