The primary focus is ensuring associate and client-based processes are compliant. Working out of a Salesforce case queue, the effective Operations Specialist, Compliance will thrive in a highvalue-add, fast-paced metric driven role that requires advanced knowledge and experience in different support areas of the staffing industry, as well as keen collaboration skills to meet overall Company goals and objectives.
What you’ll be doingESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Respond to requests from field colleagues daily and professionally using the Salesforce case queue within set Service Level Agreements to aid with the resolution of day-to-day issues experienced by the field.
Provide elevated level of support in areas of field operations compliance including but not limited to associate (Temporary Employees) on-boarding and I-9 completion, background and drug screening, unemployment claims, Associate skills testing, and ordinary questions about associate placements.
Helps with implementing and supporting programs to ensure associate pre-employment, hiring, employment, and pay practices are compliant with applicable regulations.
Collaborates to develop and educate best practices including obtaining, revising, documenting, and communicating procedures and forms.
Partners with Corporate Departments (IT, HR, Marketing, etc.) as needed for issues resolution, application testing, standard operating procedures, communications, training, and best practices.
Acts as a resource to both the field and the back office to find and resolve operational challenges and inefficiencies, including but not limited to, associate timekeeping, client invoicing, and cross business unit transactions.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
COMPLIANCE SUPPORT TEAM MEMBER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Research and respond to Unemployment Claims in Equifax.
Client Vetting – Works with Contracts Review, HR, and field members to review client on-boarding documents/forms. Ensures all documents/forms are acceptable and compliant according to law and internal policies and implemented in the proper platform for execution by candidates/associates.
Supports and handles processes related to enacted legislation such as Harassment Training, Pandemic Vaccine Tracking, Emergency Paid Sick Leave, and other initiatives as necessary.
Support and trains on electronic signature platform as necessary.
Responsible for all processes related to background adjudication.
Responding to field inquiries for compliance-related candidate/associate matters such as wage and hour determinations (including 1099’s), I-9/authorized employment verifications, sick leave policy application and other federal, state, or local requirements.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of one (1) year prior professional experience required; operations and/or service industry experience preferred. Prior experience working with remote teams and with the following systems are helpful but not required: Vendor Management Systems (VMS), Salesforce, Bullhorn, Sense, PeopleNet, Assess Testing, Equifax, First Advantage, or HR Work Cycles.

Strong organizational skills and ability to plan to achieve results.
Above average proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook. Technically savvy to learn internal operations systems such as Bullhorn, Salesforce, VMS, etc.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $43,870 - $80,428. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
