Manager ITD Investment Management

As a Manager ITD Investment Management, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and facilitating the value tracking of the IT & Digital (ITD) strategy. This position requires a highly analytical professional with strong attention to detail to conduct in-depth reviews and produce comprehensive value reports. You will work closely with finance project controllers to ensure accuracy and clarity in financial reporting, providing actionable insights to drive the success of our investment initiatives.
What you’ll be doing- Design and implement a Value KPI framework aligned with the ITD and business strategy into projects business cases aligned with best practices in benefits realisation management, covering the full cycle—from benefit identification and planning to tracking, consolidation, and reporting
- Conduct in-depth reviews: Follow up with finance project controllers to address inconsistencies, questions, and missing commentary, ensuring a thorough understanding of material variances.
- Manage quarterly / monthly Value reporting to senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and deviations, and recommending corrective actions to support data-driven decisions
- Produce the Value Report on a quarterly basis: Compile and analyse value forecasts and underlying financial data to create detailed value reports that highlight key findings and trends.
- Review, challenge, and validate the financial benefits in business cases, applying financial rigor and benchmarking practices to ensure assumptions are reasonable and aligned with strategic goals.
- Engage with project managers, business process owners, and finance teams to foster accountability for benefits delivery.
- Collaborate closely with project controllers to synchronize on cost tracking, ensure proper linkage between IT investment and realized outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and governance, data collection, and stakeholder communication to improve transparency and reliability over time.
- Provide comprehensive understanding of the forecast: Go beyond headline results to uncover success drivers, lessons learned, and the rationale for material variances, delivering actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a finance role, preferably in FP&A or Controlling.
- Resilient self‑starter with strong analytical skills, a collaborative, business‑partnering mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and addressing inconsistencies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced expertise with forecasting, variance analysis, financial modelling and business cases, as well as a solid understanding of the IT landscape.
- Complementary experience with business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, to support value tracking and reporting.
- Good knowledge of global accounting standards, preferably US GAAP.
- Strong collaboration skills to succeed in a global, cross-cultural organization and environment.
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets, pivot tables, power queries, and advanced dynamic array formulas.
- Business-oriented mindset and experience in working with dynamic business environments.
