The Policy Architect will drive the transformation of the Adecco Group’s policy landscape, establishing a simplified, risk-aligned, and business-friendly policy framework across Group, GBU and Country policies. The role combines policy design and harmonization with end-to-end governance, ensuring policies are clear, compliant and consistently implemented across geographies. The Policy Architect will act as a central point between Policy Owners and Country teams and develop the future state of policy governance, managing the policy lifecycle, embed tools and ways of working, ensuring policy effectiveness and adoption. The role sits within the Group General Counsel’s Office, reporting to the Strategic Program & Corporate Group Legal Office Manager.

What you’ll be doing- Group, GBU and Country Policy Review and Simplification
- Lead a structured review of existing Group, GBU and Country policies to implement a group-wide principle-based policy framework.
- Define and maintain the Group policy architecture and control ownership model to enable consistency and traceability.
- Serve as trusted partner to Group and Country stakeholders, lead change management, communications, and training to drive understanding and adoption.
- Policy Governance and Lifecycle Management
- Design and operate a robust governance framework covering policy drafting, review, approval, publication, training, attestation, monitoring and periodic review.
- Curate and maintain a Policy Repository, ensuring a single source of truth and accurate metadata, version control, and audit trails.
- Monitor policy compliance and ensure timely updates in response to regulatory or organizational changes.
- Digital Enablement
- Develop and manage a Group-wide Policy AI- supported digital assistant to provide accurate, role-based guidance on policies
- Curate and update the chatbot knowledge base and continuously improve responses and workflows
- University degree required: law, compliance, risk management, public policy, or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in governance, internal audit, risk, compliance, legal operations or process excellence within a complex, matrixed, multi-country organization.
- Demonstrated, structured way of working.
- Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrixed organization.
- Project and programme management capability, including prioritisation, roadmap development and stakeholder reporting.
- Familiarity with policy lifecycle tools or digital governance platforms.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, especially in stakeholder management within a matrixed environment.
- Proven analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with strong project and program management capabilities, including prioritization and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to drive change management and foster adoption of new policy governance frameworks and processes.
