Senior Analyst Global Privacy

The role supports the Pontoon Privacy Team. The position will require providing privacy law and business led initiatives across the organisation, as well as acting within the Adecco Group’s Privacy Operating Model.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the privacy function of a global staffing organisation. This role is responsible for specific activities within the global privacy program and closely supports several business segments across the global regions.

 Core Requirements

• Analytical thinker with ability to clearly identify privacy issues and effectively convey to business stakeholders
• Ability to translate complex legal principles into pragmatic advice with an aim to strike on balance between the privacy constraints and business requirements
• Team player with an ability to build up good relationships with your colleagues and an eagerness to learn
• Able to work autonomously have excellent organisation skills, are process orientated and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience

• 2+ years’ experience in Data Protection
• Familiarity with OneTrust is a must
• BCS Practitioner certificate in Data Protection, CIPP/E or equivalent Data Protection certification
• Fluent in English (written & spoken), other languages are an advantage
• Exposure to Stakeholder Management
• Supporting on Global/ EMEA - wide privacy projects
• Assisting with the management of the privacy program

Main responsibilities

• Handle data subject rights including working closely with our clients, customer support and technical teams on responding to and actioning these rights (including the rights to erasure and access)
• Manage data privacy inbox(es), perform a first analysis of queries, and respond to them
• Complete Records of Processing Activities and follow up action items
• Provide advice to general data privacy questions and manage Pontoon privacy mailbox
• Keep high quality content related to Pontoon in the privacy management tool (e.g., correct wrong naming conventions where required)
• Manage and keep up to date the data privacy folders and sites
• Liaise with legal counsel to ensure internal data protection agreements are up to date and contracts with clients and third parties have the relevant data protection clauses, where required
• Support developing procedures, guidelines, templates and harmonize the processes within Pontoon
• Develop, review, and make recommendations in respect of Pontoon’s Privacy documentation
• Work closely with different departments including Operations, HR, Group, IT and Compliance including the Adecco Group Global Privacy
