Director of Field Sales - Adecco US - Remote, East
PostulerThe Director, Field Sales will be responsible for partnering with VP National Field Sales (VP) and Field Area leadership to deliver the new annual sales growth target for the small-medium enterprise (SME) segment across the US Branch network. They will work directly with their regional and area team to proactively identify new account opportunities up to $5m in annual revenue, by developing a sales strategy to convert these opportunities into new SME client wins. This role is responsible for the implementation and sustained adoption of the go-to-market (GTM) strategy and tactical operating model developed by VP and Field SVP leadership. The Director partners with VP and Field leaders to ensure consistency within the overall Field Sales organization, provides coaching and development to Field sellers, drives pricing discipline within established guidelines, and strategic solutions to generate new business. The Director will report into and support the VP, National Field Sales in driving the sales performance, sales initiatives, overall, Field Sales pipeline quality and forecasts for the SME sector.
What you’ll be doingESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement consistent GTM strategy for SME customers across Branch network within assigned Region. Partner with VP National Sales and Field sales leaders to ensure local adoption.
• Support Field Area leadership for the creation, evolution and execution of Market Blueprints across the Branch network within assigned Region
• Responsible for YoY growth of SME customer count across assigned Region, including net new and account reactivation.
• Responsible for achieving annual new Field Sales revenue and gross profit growth targets across assigned Region.
• Implement and govern strategic programs (ex. Branch Velocity, Branch Health Audit) aimed at continuous sales improvement to accelerate Branch performance for SME customers. Partner with Area Field leadership to hold Branch Managers and Market Development Managers accountable for execution of established initiatives and performance targets.
• Active presence in Field Branches, attend customer visits and support virtual prospecting activities to coach and develop Field sellers to expected level of sales productivity.
• Partner with Field Area leadership and support sellers to price new business within gross margin percentage targets.
• Partner with Marketing to develop and implement programs to increase qualified leads for SME prospects.
• Partner with VP to implement and govern tools to consistently monitor SME KPI, pipeline velocity and results towards annual new Field Sales growth targets.
• Responsibility for training and upskilling of Field sellers in areas of territory planning, prospecting, negotiations.
• Partners with subject matter experts within the Adecco organization, the industry and assigned region to continue to enhance Adecco’s service offerings.
• Partner with Field Area leaders with hiring, developing, and training Field sales colleagues.
• Support Field Area leaders with day-to-day management of a team of Branch Managers, Market Development Managers and other Field sellers, to include coaching and development.
• Partner with Field Area leaders to drive performance accountability for all Field sales colleagues within assigned Region.
• Assists team members with the sales process, customer meetings, and presentations.
• Effectively manages internal escalations.
• Supports Field Area leadership and VP to conduct funnel reviews across each Branch in assigned Region to ensure that they are achieving their KPI’s and sales goals.
• Keeps team abreast of leading industry trends and delivery best practices.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• May be asked to take on a leadership role within the team on projects or on company workstreams.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8+ years field account sales of staffing delivery models and programs
• Proven history of identifying and implementing successful strategic sales strategies along with analytical expertise of sales processes and metrics with utilization of a CRM system
• Proven track record of sales growth, client expansion and new client wins
• Requires regional travel to branch offices, up to 50%.

• Excellent organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
• Adept at establishing and managing to KPIs.
• Proficient with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and the ability to learn new software is required.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $103,586 - $189,908. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
Benefit offerings for full-time employment include medical, dental, vision, term life and AD&D insurance, short-term and long-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, wellness plans, and a 401k plan or a non-qualified deferred compensation plan. Available paid leave includes Personal Time Off (PTO) on an accrual basis up to 152 hours a year, 10 Paid Holidays, 1 Community Service Day, and up to 6 weeks of Paid Parental Leave. PTO and holiday hours are prorated based on hire date within the calendar year.
