What will be your responsibilities?
- This position will require you to supervise and coordinate the monthly and year-end close process, including preparation of the statutory financial statements, including balance sheet and profit & loss statement, notes in accordance with Polish GAAP as well as weekly cash flow
- Represent the Company in front of the auditors, state authorities and financial institutions (Tax Office, NBP, GUS, Ministry of Finance, etc.)
- Supervise the work of the accounting team
- Ensure compliance of the accounting and tax reporting with relevant legal requirements in cooperation with external advisors
- Contribute to improvement of internal control system as well as to development of financial and accounting solutions
What do we expect?
- Min. 3 years of professional experience on the similar position as the Chief accountant or independent accountant, preferably in large organization.
- Excellent knowledge of the Polish Accounting Act and US GAAP will be an asset.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Computer literacy, especially MS Excel is a must.
- Very good command of spoken and written English .
- Good understanding of the polish tax regulations.
- Goal-oriented with ability to perform and deliver under pressure
- Strong organization and communication skills.
