Head of Human Resources, Sweden

Mission

As the Head of HR Adecco for Sweden, you will play a critical role in developing and leading the Country People Strategy. Reporting to the head of HR Europe (non G7) and the Country Manager of Sweden, you will be responsible for directly managing a senior HRBP and support matrix management of a team of HR professionals, driving HR initiatives to support the business objectives. This role is a key member of both the country leadership team and the HR leadership team for Northern Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR function for Sweden, providing strategic direction and operational support.
  • Directly manage 1 HR Business Partner and indirectly oversee 2 HR Business Partners for consultancies, 1 HR Advisor, and 1 Talent Acquisition Specialist (vacant).
  • Act as a member of the country leadership team (LT) and the HR leadership team (LT) for Northern Europe.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Head of HR and the Country Manager to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Support a workforce of approximately 250 employees, ensuring HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and compliant with local regulations.
  • Focus on supporting the Adecco GBU while also providing HR support to LHH and Akkodis Sweden.
  • Lead key HR projects, including but not limited to:
    • Full The Adecco Group responsibility to come. Developing and aligning plans for the integration of GBUs.
    • Transformation and business turnaround initiatives.
    • Development and revision of reward strategies including bonus programs.
    • Managing reorganization processes.
    • Cultivating a sales-focused culture within the organization.
    • Managing complex union environments and supporting Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
  • Provide support on the global scope, including the values activation, supporting Global Transformation Model and inclusion agenda.

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience working in a multinational organization preferred.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven experience in leading reorganization efforts and change management initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Solid knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Sweden.
  • Experience in compensation planning and execution.
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
