Corporate Accountant - AP & AR

The Adecco Group in Bulgaria is powered by the brands of Adecco and Modis. Now we expand our operations in Bulgaria with a newly established Operations Center in Sofia and currently we are looking for energetic and self-driven person for the position ofCorporate Accountant - AP & AR

About the role:

As Corporate Accountant you will be responsible for the accounts payable process by processing inbound invoices from both external and intercompany suppliers of Adecco Group AG. You will also participate in the accounts receivable process of raising intercompany invoices to various group entities. Your job duties include maintaining complete and accurate record-keeping and overall support of accounting and period end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process internal and external accounts payable invoices and manage the end-to-end AP process including payment runs across various entities
  • Participate in the preparation of accounts receivable figures and invoicing
  • Journal entry preparation for both AP & AR
  • Process bank statements and reconciliations for various currency accounts and entities
  • Intercompany reconciliations
  • Respond to both internal and external queries
  • Responsible for other headquarter accounting tasks as needed
  • Assist/Participate in other Finance projects as needed

Main Requirements:

  • 3 – 5 years ofAccounts Payableexperienceorina similar role
  • Background in accounting(through prior work experience and/or relevant business degree)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Good understanding of the use and application of ERP systems (e.g. Peoplesoft, Microsoft Dynamics) is a plus
