ServiceNow Solution Specialist

About the role

As a ServiceNow Solution Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, structure, and authority for the creation and maintenance of solutions pertaining to the ServiceNow platform. Serving as the owner of the technical 'release train' and upgrade cycle for a solution, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, completeness, and compliance of high-level and detailed design documents. Your expertise will be essential in endorsing solution designs for deployment into production environments, driving continuous improvement of processes and functionalities within the ServiceNow platform team.

What you’ll be doing
  • Conducting level 3 incident resolution related to ServiceNow, collaborating with ServiceNow development partners when necessary.
  • Escalating and following incident tickets with ServiceNow editor, ServiceNow development partner, and Adecco Group partners interfacing with ServiceNow.
  • Managing problem tickets and maintaining support documentation and knowledge articles related to ServiceNow.
  • Providing comprehensive guidance on ServiceNow usage across all modules and participating in audit and compliance activities.
  • Proposing solutions and alternatives based on configuration and/or development, aligned with best practices and out-of-the-box design principles.
  • Assessing development feasibility and effort with ServiceNow development partners and participating in all project steps from kick-off to go-live.
  • Validating solution design and implementation, coordinating moves to UAT, tests, sign-off, and production.
  • Managing release, deployment, and change tickets while maintaining solution documentation and performing regular environment refreshes.

About you
  • Must possess ServiceNow Systems Administrator certification.
  • Additional certifications in Certified Implementation Specialist in ITSM preferred.
  • Advantageous to have certifications in ITOM, CSM, HRSD, IRM, and SAM.
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in application architecture, solution design, and enterprise application development methodologies.
  • Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Proficient in ITIL Service Management processes.
  • Thorough grasp of the complete systems development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in distributed enterprise application architectures.
  • University Degree in a business or technical subject, or equivalent education, preferred.
  • ITIL v3 or v4 certification required.
  • ServiceNow Admin certification is necessary.
  • Experience in team leadership is a plus, showcasing the ability to lead and motivate teams towards successful project outcomes.
