Service Manager (Windows)

About the role

The Service Manager Windows ensures that our server estate is secured, well maintained and managed accordingly with our partners contractual agreements as well as in line with our internal security and group policies.

What you’ll be doing
  • Ensure Server provisioning processes are adhered to appropriately, including installation of the required standard agents and proper recording in CMDB and Active Directory.
  • Ensure Golden Image is maintained appropriately.
  • Ensure and control that our server Hardening requirements are implemented and effective.
  • Ensure readiness of our infrastructure to host new OS version.
  • Ensure Server are appropriately patched against known Vulnerabilities.
  • Help to ensure that the Anti Malware solutions runs effectively on our server estate.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited with Global IT Security Management, Global Identity and Access Management, Global Project Management, Cloud Infrastructure and Engineering and regional IT Infrastructure and Operations.
  • Ensure proper onboarding of our servers in the Privilege Access Management tool.
  • Ensure compliance with our partner contractual agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with our internal security and group policies.
  • Contribute to accuracy of server records in CMDB against other sources of information.
  • Participate to the operational governance meetings with our key suppliers.
  • Establish and ensure continuous improvement for service delivery.
  • Monitors and controls SLAs/KPIs performance against service contracts.
About you
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a IT system engineering role in Data Center / Computing area.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Proven experience in IT Service Management at Global scale.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT Enterprise Technologies, including but not limited to Compute and Virtualization platforms, Enterprise storage solution and Hyper Converged Infrastructure.
  • Experience in managing/working with International outsourcing partners.
  • University degree in Information System subject or any comparable education.
  • Project Management education and experience.
  • ITIL v3 or ITIL v4 certified.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise storage solutions, VMWare, MS HyperV, Active Directory and GPOs management, CommVault, CyberArk, Tanium, Trellix, Microsoft Azure Cloud, Microsoft Azure Stack HCI and monitoring solutions is a plus.
  • Microsoft Fundamentals or Advanced certification in Windows Server, Azure or Hybrid Infrastructure is preferred.
  • SFIA Skills Integration:
  • IT infrastructure (ITOP) Level 3: Proficient in carrying out agreed operational procedures, infrastructure configuration, installation, and maintenance. Utilizes infrastructure management tools for automation and contributes to the resolution of operational problems.
  • Systems installation/decommissioning (HSIN) Level 5: Undertakes routine installations and de-installations of hardware/software, conducts tests, corrects malfunctions, and documents details for configuration management.
  • Specialist advice (TECH) Level 4: Actively maintains expertise in specialized areas, providing detailed advice aligned with organizational needs, collaborating with other specialists.
  • Supplier management (SUPP) Level 3: Acts as the primary contact point between the organization and suppliers, supports resolution of supplier-related incidents, collects and reports on supplier performance data.
