About the role

You’re going to want to join our Hull team!

Location: 1st floor, 25 South St, Hull HU1 3QD

Hybrid: 4 days in the office

Salary: £32,000 (OTE to be discussed if successful on a pre-screen with our Talent Acquisition Specialist)

Ideally, we would like you to have a driving license to be able to make a tailored relationship with our clients in and around Hull.

We are looking for an existing recruiter, or someone who can bring the eagerness to dive into the fast-paced and highly professional world of sales recruitment. 

We seek an individual with hunger, ambition, emotional and intuitive intelligence, poised to cultivate their own perms desk in Hull, expanding strategically across the area that will be driven by your own growth mindset.

What you'll be doing

This is your opportunity to drive Branch Manager duties when Marc, the Branch Manager is away. It’s the perfect opportunity to build up your portfolio, still be a billing consultant with the skillset and experience to do more.

We need you to thrive on business development, cold calling, and knocking on client doors – a recruiter ready to shine. With guidance from exceptional talent, you’ll experience continuous progress and embrace learning opportunities.

More than anything we need someone who is waning to support on branch manager duties, drive the business and the team, be the backbone of the office with Marc and be a dynamic duo. This role would suit someone who is wanting that next step if you are already a Recruitment Consultant or if you currently work in recruitment management but are wanting a softer approach and to pick up some sales (and earning potential) again.

Your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Business Development
    • Build client relationships by demonstrating your credibility and expertise to effectively secure their business
    • Closely follow individual client strategies to gain trust and consistency from clients, underpinned by regular sales calls and networking
    • Market map to build out all market potential and knowledge

  • Candidate Management
    • Build a suitable talent pool of candidates through thorough market mapping to enable you to present the highest calibre of talent to your client
    • Manage the candidate sourcing process and identify suitable candidates through screening in accordance with the client’s agreed requirements and agreed service levels
    • Arranging interviews, preparing candidates for interview, taking client and candidate feedback  
    • Maintaining relationships with both registered and placed candidates including placement administration and aftercare.
About you

An existing recruitment background would be advantageous, but we are open to anyone who has rigorous sales drive and can evidence their enthusiasm for such.

But we are seeking someone who is eager and hungry to sell. Whilst you have the job title of Team Leader and will be expected to motivate the team and help drive sales, you will be developing your managerial experience.

  2. Presentation and interview with Regional Director, Kim MacDonald (presentation brief to be given prior).
  3. Teams interview (30 mins) with Head of Permanent Placement, Lisa Phelps.
