IT Developer
As IT Developer you will oversee and engage in the development of Pontoon applications for different purposes. Your mission from a technical point of view will be to contribute to the design, development and maintenance of specific Pontoon tools, ensuring the quality of multiple products and services.
What you’ll be doing- As IT Developer, you will be developing, implementing, and enhancing various parts of specific Pontoon tools.
- You will be responsible of the design and creation of scalable software.
- Write clean, functional code on the front-and-back end.
- Document developed solutions.
- Maintain change control over the code base and data schemas.
- Create automated tests as part of the implementation.
- Stay up-to-date emerging technologies.
- You will collaborate with the rest of the team comprised of developers, QA engineers, data scientists, cloud engineers and other IT/Pontoon team members.
EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor/ master’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Science, Technology, Data Science, Math or Physics from an accredited university.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proven 2-3 years of experience in large scale software development.
- Being fluent German speaker.
- Ability to work independently and very collaboratively and getting the job done.
- Solid knowledge of various patterns and techniques of software development.
- Familiarity with common stacks and development patterns.
- Proven experience in using and maintaining some of the below tools: Development environment, Java 5, Database, PostgreSQL, Operating system, Linux, other / Java Plugins, Angular 5, Glassfish 4.0, Docker, Gradle, BIRD (Reporting)
- Creative and analytical mindset, and naturally facilitate collaborative problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of accounting and invoicing would be a plus.
