About the role

In this position, you will be part of The Adecco Group Tax team and support the team in all areas of tax practice with a focus on Swiss taxes. As the Group Tax Manager, you will mainly supervise and ensure that all Swiss tax matters are being properly handled for the Group legal entities in Switzerland. Further, you will also handle international tax projects and provide international tax advice and support to Adecco Group Companies worldwide.

What you’ll be doing
  • Prepare tax calculations for our Swiss corporate entities
  • Preparation of tax returns for all Swiss corporate companies of the Adecco Group
  • Compliance with all tax requirements (withholding tax, stamp duty, VAT)
  • Consolidation of the Swiss VAT group declarations of the Swiss subsidiaries
  • Partner with business teams (Legal, Finance, Treasury, HR), providing tax input and advice during cross-functional discussions
  • Support internal restructuring, tax planning and projects (including rulings)
  • Review and implementation of new legislation (e.g. Global Minimum Tax)
  • Communication with the Swiss tax authorities
  • Coordination with external tax consultants International Tax • Provide international tax advice and support to Adecco Group Companies
  • Review and support submissions of the affiliates from a global perspective including tax approvals for group transactions
  • Support internal restructuring, tax planning and projects
  • Management of the Group’s income tax Risk Reserve (ASC 740)
  • Review and implementation of new legislation (e.g. Global Minimum Tax)
  • Monitor local tax compliance
  • Provide international tax advice and support to Adecco Group Companies

About you
  • University degree in Economics or Finance combined with a Swiss Certified Tax. Expert • 5+ years of relevant working experience (preferably experience from Big 4 companies or in a similar role).
  • Excellent understanding of the Swiss tax system.
  • Extensive knowledge of technical aspects of corporate income taxation.
  • Knowledge of international taxation including international standards and latest legislative trends for OECD, EU, and major local countries.
  • Strong team player and ability to manage all levels within a cross-functional organization.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to function independently with a proactive, self-starter attitude.
  • Fluent English and German skills both written and spoken • Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
