Mission

Overall mission is to proactively drive fast pace strategic progress and high impact transformation of Adecco globally.

As part of the Adecco Finance function, define, implement, and manage day-to-day operations of the Value Realization function for the Adecco Global Business Unit. Govern, steer, and monitor investment decisions for Adecco globally, ensuring a consistent focus of all activities, processes, and systems to create value for and with Clients, Candidates, Associates, and Colleagues.

Define and implement structures and processes ensuring a streamlined approach for investment approval, oversight, and reporting. Ensure the realization of anticipated benefits as well as their materialization and translation into top-line and/or bottom-line improvements.

Act as trusted advisor to Senior Management on matters related to investment decisions. Manage, handle, and oversee current and future controlling and reporting needs of relevant stakeholders, including C-Level executives at Group level.

Support the continuous transformation and evolution of the global Finance function. Work closely with Operations and Functions by providing turnkey solutions and services, which help improve operational effectiveness, business performance, and value creation for and with Clients, Candidates, Associates, and Colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement structures and processes for the newly created Value Realization function in alignment with relevant stakeholders
  • Define and roll-out methodology to assess investment projects (e.g., alignment with company strategy and budget, synchronization with other initiatives, cost/benefit analysis, etc.)
  • Assess proposals for investment projects and provide guidance to Senior Management for related decision-making and investment approvals
  • Implement and manage processes to gather, capture, and report information related to investment projects throughout the organization (incl. templates and tools to be used)
  • Evaluate and track impact of investments and related progress (e.g., delays, scope changes, etc.), ensuring clear oversight and alignment with related Finance functions
  • Provide updates on investment progress and impact in periodic meetings
  • Handle all information that needs to be collected and analyzed to support related decision-making processes, including (but not limited to)
  • Monitoring the financial development of Adecco’s investment projects and communicating this regularly, liaising with the local Country Finance teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with calculation guidelines
  • Providing guidance to Countries with regards to related procedures
  • Providing the decision basis for approval of investment projects
  • Developing and operating preparation of new reporting
  • Perform analyses and prepare high quality documents for the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and the Adecco Leadership Team
  • Support needs for ad-hoc analyses and presentations, project reviews, steering committees, business reviews, and management presentations

Experience

  • +10 years relevant experience in Finance

Education

  • Qualifications: Master’s Degree / PhD
  • Specialty: Business / Finance / Science
