ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Learning Experience Architect designs in-person learning experiences and blended learning strategies for high-value clients, provides consultative product expertise to the sales process, and contributes to the ongoing discovery, development and delivery of new, scalable learning products for business. The ideal candidate is experienced in client management, passionate about educational training, familiar with corporate environments, and has the technical capabilities to partner with our sales team in scoping the right data analysis/data science solutions for clients.

As a part of your role, you’ll be leading working sessions with prospects to scope out learning needs, as well as partner with sales to propose recommendations for training. You’ll also be designing and developing these learning experiences -- drawing from existing materials and content, curating existing lessons and modules, partnering with data SMEs for insight into specific content areas, and/or developing new content customized to a particular industry or context. 

EXPERTISE IN DATA

While you may not consider yourself a data expert, are you conversant enough in data tools to be able to speak credibly to the topic? Our ideal candidate can work with clients to determine their needs and then decide which technologies would be most relevant to cover.

Strategy + Customization

  • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to develop or refine data curriculum for client-specific training needs using sound instructional design principles.
  • Design and adapt curriculum across data products for instructor-led, synchronous/remote learning experiences.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of experience as an analyst, data professional, or analytics trainer in a client-facing context. Sample prior roles include: 
    • Business Intelligence Analyst
    • Data Analyst
    • Financial Analyst
    • Marketing Analyst
    • Operations Analyst
    • Data Technical Trainer
  • Has a broad understanding of the business problems analytics and data science can solve and can articulate advantages/disadvantages of different models in a corporate context
  • Working proficiency in at least two of the following: Excel, SQL, Python for exploratory data analysis
  • Strategy + Customization
    • Work with clients and internal stakeholders to develop or refine data curriculum for client-specific training needs using sound instructional design principles.
    • Design and adapt curriculum across data products for instructor-led, synchronous/remote learning experiences.

Nice to have

  • Experience using the following Python libraries: Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, scikit-learn, SciPy, numpy Excel expert, and familiar with programming languages used in analyses
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure suite of tools for machine learning: Azure Data Studio, Azure ML Studio, Azure Cognitive Services
  • Comfort using git and GitHub for instrumenting workflows
  • Understands the basics of SQL and SQL servers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop data training in an enterprise context with legacy systems and disparate data sources
  • Demonstrated ability to identify technical dependencies/hurdles early on when developing training
  • Knowledge of Tableau or Qlik
  • Knowledge of databases, database administration, or data engineering
