Job Summary:

Ideal candidates will posses:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related is preferred,
  • 5+ yrs experience in the IT or Engineering Staffing industry
  • 5+ yrs experience selling to the Federal Integrator Community
  • Proven sales experience in business solutions
  • Ability to hire, teach, train and build a successful team,
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities of the Managing Director will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for growth, maintenance, development and profitability of Modis Government Services Practice.
  • Prepare Business plan and budget for practice and responsible for leading staff to reach the financial objectives set.
  • P & L management – budget of revenue and spending.
  • Responsible for the development (benchmarking progress) and motivation of staff.
  • Responsible for identifying, recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, motivating (and terminating) branch personnel.
  • Increase market share by leading and overseeing advertising, marketing, sales, service and recruiting efforts in branch.
  • Develop solutions regarding customer-related issues to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Responsible for the business process flow, including recruiting, compliance of I-9, reference checks, and the staff follow-up of associates on assignment.
  • Responsible for guiding the targeting, business development process ensuring the appropriate business mix to reach business goals.
  • Conduct branch audits. (I.e. job order accuracy, lost and canceled job orders, credit check compliance)
  • Responsible for client and employee retention.
  • Conduct weekly staff and training meetings as well as periodic business review meetings.
  • Administer staff performance evaluations and salary/incentive reviews.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts for the acquisition and saturation of select Large System Integrators and other integrators Nationally
  • Build an annual $50MM+ sales pipeline of capture, teaming, subcontracting and staffing services through an existing sales and recruiting team.
  • Work with Regional Vice President to increase current Sales Team to 7 Direct Business Development Managers within first 12 months.
  • Build Account Plans to saturate existing contracts with large Federal Integrators while consistently identifying new target clients and build account acquisition strategies to position our client as a new supplier/client partner through research, relationship development, client meetings, and entertainment events
  • Create strategic plan to scale government solutions practice across Modis US Retail, Enterprise and Consulting organizations.
  • Target C-Level, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Human Resources, and VP/Director-level contacts
  • Be an expert in all of the company’s capabilities, our client’s industries, current trends, and solutions
  • Manage RFP process for opportunities in pipeline; will require extensive business proposal writing skills and creativity in developing and communicating solutions
  • Present our brand via in-person presentations and meetings, phone conferences, and on-line presentations
  • Negotiate contracts and close opportunities
  • Attend quarterly industry conferences to develop leads, networking opportunities, and develop relationships
  • Expand and integrate the entire portfolio of services within existing accounts, coordinating cross-division communication, management and delivery of our services for customers
  • Cultivate and expand existing portfolio of select accounts through regular communication, quarterly business reviews, and executive/senior level client visits
  • Collaborate personal sales efforts with local office and regional sales teams
  • Monitor delivery in accordance with contractual SLAs in concert with all regional staff

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Member of the East Region SLT
  • Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.
  • Conduct sale calls as needed.
  • Review and authorize payment for vendor bills.
  • Interface with Corporate Office.
  • Coordinate job/trade shows.
  • Responsible for preparing and reviewing weekly activity, production, sales, branch and operations reports for senior management.
