About the roleThe Internal Comms Manager is responsible for managing all internal communications globally across Pontoon. Work in close partnership with members of the marketing team to ensure alignment alongside liaising with the internal and external communications teams with The Adecco Group. The Internal Comms Manager works collaboratively with the VP of Marketing, Corporate Communications in planning, developing, writing, editing, executing, and managing the strategic communications function.
What you’ll be doingGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provides communications leadership, counsel, and support to corporate departments and business unit leaders.
· Develops strategic goals and coordinates the implementation of communication needs and action plans.
· Oversees the production of internal communications materials including colleague communications, newsletters, intranet sites, and executive messages.
· Develops corporate messages, policies, and procedures and communicates to appropriate audiences
· Supports executive management spokespeople as they handle complex and high-level internal communications.
· Ensures that Pontoon’s internal audiences are aware of significant development and use positive news to the fullest advantage.
· Implements global corporate communication initiatives globally in partnership with local executive leaders.
· Assess and implements internal communication tools that provide the best reach and readership and incorporates social media tools into communication plans, when appropriate.
· Meets with cross-functional management to discuss project requirements and interpret communications objectives.
· Develops and manages content on intranet sites to ensure accuracy, freshness, consistency, and relevancy.
About youEDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS: A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in communications, public relations, marketing, public affairs, or a related field. Five (5) or more years of experience in developing, preparing, and implementing communications programs and related material for a corporate audience. Experience working within a culturally diverse environment; preferably a global organization. Successful track record of pipeline management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· Skilled in communicating effectively, verbally and in writing; strong oral and written communications required.
· Strong relationship building skills and an entrepreneurial approach that leverages further opportunities; strong creative, strategic, and analytical organizational skills.
· Demonstrated drive to solve problems in a matrix team environment and leading with high energy and a positive attitude.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence and work effectively with all levels within the organization to include high level executives and community leaders.
· Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, etc.).
· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
