Vice President, Growth Operations - Atlanta, GA

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the President, the Vice President, Growth Operations is responsible for leading business transformation through process improvement and digital innovation by continuously exploring new possibilities offered by internal and external innovative technologies and business models, matching them with client and internal needs and accelerating market introduction of ideas with the highest commercial potential. The incumbent provides leadership to the Operational Excellence, Innovation, and Strategic Partnership teams and plays a key role on the senior leadership team shaping our organizational strategy.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for leading a team managing multiple business projects and Lean approaches to enhance effectiveness and drive continuous improvement across the organization. You will also have overall accountability for bringing innovative ideas to the delivery organization. You will play a critical role supporting the sales and client expansion process developing the right solutions for our clients and prospects and ensuring our customers have the right business models to suit their needs.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define the team’s priorities and design programs that will accomplish the objective to accelerate our journey to be the most admired partner in our market becoming an integrated, agile and simple organization.
• Identify and implement improvements to current programs, processes and technologies to meet new market challenges and adapt to changing industry trends to maintain and increase their impact and relevance.
• Develop opportunities with prospective/current technology partners to generate meaningful impact for the business. Leverage key partners across the digital space to secure strategic partnerships in support of our strategy.
• Sign strategic partnerships that enhance our footprint and expand our services to current and future customers, upgrade our MVP partnerships, map our supplier relationships.
• Develop and deploy a prioritized training plan to engage key leaders and colleagues globally in LEAN and Six Sigma project work to positively impact the organization and drive consistent efficiency. Deploy PERFORM in the region. Provide measurements to the business for the ROI on this investment and bring sustainability to the process improvement culture.
• Collaboratively with the sales team deliver market leading solutions to our clients and prospects increasing our retention and win rates.
• Engage key external stakeholders in the market, including tech companies, startups, accelerators, incubators, and universities to form strategic partnerships.
• Engage internal stakeholders from across the region and functions and ensure their alignment to execute innovation initiatives successfully.
• Lead team across the region to execute programs.
• Lead strategic projects delivering consistent yet location adaptable solutions.

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferable in engineering, advanced degree a plus
• 10 - 15 years experience leading operational teams and driving continuous improvement efforts for operational excellence
• 5 - 7 years’ experience driving innovation and change, consulting background a plus
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
• Experience developing and managing complex projects and budgets
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills
• Capable of taking tasks that are only roughly defined, yet involve complex interactions with other tasks and projects, and translating them into concrete initiatives
• Proven track record of results
• Resilience – capable of working alone or as part of a team to influence internal and external stakeholders
• Tenacity – ability to drive ideas through in a complex, matrixed environment
• Independent thinker and executor
• Proactive in defining and implementing solutions to problems
• Ideally experienced in managing and coordinating teams across multiple regions
• Ability to travel domestically as required for the position
• Fluent in English and Spanish

EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience managing complex projects
• Proven experience analyzing business models, economic models, and various global markets to identify market trends, and developing and executing related business strategies in global markets
• Strong demonstrated analytics skills required
• Experience in modeling and deploying business improvement processes
• Proven ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected business information, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization
