Contribute to process improvement initiatives if it relates to improving project delivery
What you’ll be doingMain accountabilities/Measured on: · Successfully deliver a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business against agreed scope, budget, quality, and schedule in the areas of Infrastructure, Network, Unified Communication & Collaboration, or IT Security · Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives · Customer satisfaction with program delivered Stakeholders: · Project Sponsor & Project board members · Group Executives, IT Leadership team, Region/Pillar Leadership team · External partners, suppliers · Financial controllers & Portfolio managers Main Tasks & Responsibilities: · Organizing program, sub-projects and related activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization · Define how different projects interlink and overlap and then Plan, execute, and control the program and its projects to ensure the timely delivery of quality deliverables on budget, on scope, according to agreed project standards and best practice · Provide appropriate leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones · Develop and/or review Business Cases to ensure the projects are executable and Business Cases are aligned with the Strategy Program · Deliver appropriate, transparent, and effective executive level communication · Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery per stage as defined by the PMO process and standards, including all changes impacting the agreed program baselines. · Manage all risks and issues associated with the projects escalating where required to assure program delivery · Manage the vendor(s) to make certain they are performing against contractual agreements · Assist in dispute, negotiation, arbitration, or litigation, as needed · Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements Management Responsibilities & Decision Power: · Exercise authority to spend the agreed program budget against the program business case · Exercise delegated management authority over the extended project team |
Minimum 12+ years of experience in project/program management through managing complex and critical projects Excellent communicator able to express complex ideas in simple language and presentation skills at an Executive Management Level Proven ability of executive stakeholder management Proven ability to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross-functional and cross-cultural environment Experience of successful management of cross-functional and cross-cultural teams |
Education & Training | University degree preferably in a business or technical subject or any comparable education PMP® / Prince2 (or similar industry standard project management qualification desirable) (MSP) Foundation & Practitioner (Preferred) Good to excellent command of English |
Travel Requirements | Frequent (20-30%) |
